Exploring our mental health and emotional wellbeing with Sarah Long, Mental Health First Aid Instructor and Wellbeing Coach
As we face a long period of uncertainty about how long it will take for the Coronavirus Pandemic to die down, and what life will be like in the meantime, and afterwards. - we might be struggling to come to term with things, or increasingly anxious about haviing to go back out into the world. I talk a little about what might be ahead, and learning to accept and manage our fears before they stop us from being able to resume our lives. I think about what change might be around the corner - be it good or bad.
Sarah Long is a Mental Health First Aid England Instructor Member and Wellbeing coach, working with organisations and individuals to promote mutual support and self directed emotional recovery. Sarah uses her own experience living with mental ill health to approach her work with empathy and compassion, and a strong belief that we each have within us what we need to thrive.

We all have mental health, sometimes it is good, sometimes not so good. How can we improve our chances of enjoying good emotional wellbeing? Of feeling happy and confident and relaxed more of the time? How can we recover when our mental health slides - what contributes to that recovery - both things we can do for ourselves, and what others can do for us.
We look into aspects of positive psychology, of nutrition - and the medication or counselling support which can come together to help us thrive in life.
