We're back! Meg and I took a break from podcasting - life interrupted for a bit, but we're so excited to be doing this again. We had a Disney guessing game, where Meg looked up images from a few movies and tried to explain the plot. It went...about as well as expected for one who hasn't seen any of them! Then we had a more serious conversation about some awesome women who were groundbreakers in the field of law enforcement. We discussed Alice Stebbins Wells (LA's first full policewoman) and Kate Warne (the first woman in the Pinkerton detective agency), and had a blast learning about their accomplishments and the women who joined them as pioneers in policing. Getting back into the true crime world, Meg and Rachel discuss one of the most famous serial killers of all time - Jeffrey Dahmer. We won't tell the story of this monster - there's loads of resources available if you're interested. Instead we talk about the WHY, diving into his pitiful childhood, isolated adolescence, and monstrous adulthood.

Well this one was unexpectedly longer than usual! Meg & Rachel hope you listen to the whole episode, but understand if you have to break it up.
First we discuss the pets we've had in our lives and what they've meant to us. We're both huge animal lovers, and have always regarded our pets as members of the family. Then we move on to a fun game, where we've each selected 5 movies the other hasn't seen, and that person has to figure out what it's about! It ended up being very silly and a ton of fun. Enjoy!
On this episode, Meg & Rachel discuss one of the most notable cases of Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy and how it led to a brutal killing. Gypsyrose Blanchard was a victim of her mother DeeDee, who had this disorder, and convinced an online boyfriend to murder her. Join us as we learn about a situation that seemed clear-cut at first, but became murkier as more information was revealed.

In this episode, Rachel and Meg take a look at how social media influencers connect so well - but sometimes dangerously - to the general public. Okay yes that sounds kind of lame but I promise we have a really interesting discussion!
