Discussions of How people connect to each other & the Sharing of Tools for improving that Connection gained through Organizational Training, Recovery, Parenting, Relationships and decades of Living this Learning Experience called "Human Life"
I have had a Strong Performance based value system. In fact, Performing for Love was my 1st major defined "character defect".
I held to: Love was based on my performance: how I was loved based on my performance; and how I loved others based on theirs, well, almost...
I was lot more forgiving of others than myself.
I have learned, w are all Loved by God & therefore, Accepted "as we are".
It's amazing how much "weight" goes away when we accept life. "as it is"
We tend to act automatically using what skills / tools we think we're good with.
e.g., "I have a hammer, so, everything is a nail".
Here's a thought framework I call the Activity Loop, based on "adverbs".
It's a bit of "thinking" before "acting".
It works on small stuff & big stuff & everything in-between.
Try it, you'll like what it does for you.
I am where my Decisions & past actions put me.
I own it.
There is no life with zero risk
I used to think about the Cross of Christ's Passion as all suffering - with shame in the punishment & abuse issued.
I now see that may have been the purpose of the cross - to take all of that - for Christ to suffer that and die with it - for us.
that simple thought opened my eyes to "my cross" - which I am directed to take up - may have suffering, AND it may have JOY
My cross if the purpose God made for me.
I now choose to celebrate it, both the joy & the pain,
My past is plain vanilla - but I held to "my Story" to hide it.
I start taking about the real issues & being open & honest.
Asking to hear from those who identify
There is no intended lesson i this episode.
I am just sharing my story of growing awareness of how I was fooling only myself
Hollywood creates dependence and victims. Love, like all things in life starts with individuals & individual strength/capability. As Wayne Dyer ( several other sages too) said: "you can only give what you already possess".
The first touch on building a TEAM.
What are the basic elements for working as a team.
What are some of the individual behaviors that are essential to working in teams?
BTW,...teams are just groups of people focused on a specific goal
- I can think of other groups (e.g., families) that could benefit from these elements
Discussion of the Golden Rule - with my "Spin" on it.
Everything we do, we do for or about us -
,,,and its been said b¥ others that we can't give what we don't have ouselves
...so, How we relate & interact with ohers is really all about how we feel & relate to ourselves
Forgiveness is required because we judge
,,,But who are we really judging?
Maybe we can stop?
Forgiveness is so misunderstood.
I had a backwards understanding of it for years & years.
It is not approval nor even acceptance of another person or their actions, behavior, or words.
It is FREEDOM for YOU!
A little bit about me
what I hope to share in these messages &
how I hope at they grow in format in the future.
Expect a work-in-progress, but aren't we all?
