Rodeo Drive – The Podcast

Rodeo Drive, now world-renowned, began as little more than a bridle path. Pioneering designers, hoteliers and entrepreneurs transformed it into a rival to New York’s Fifth Avenue — with sun, palm trees and Hollywood sizzle. Rodeo Drive-The Podcast brings a taste of this famed three-block stretch in Beverly Hills to listeners around the world.

Season Three invites listeners back for more stories about the world’s most coveted brands and boutiques, brought directly from the street by Host Pari Ehsan and Field Correspondent Jason E.C Wright. Ehsan is the Iranian American founder of Pari Dust, an influential, digital platform for art and fashion. Wright is the founder of Burntsienna Research Society, an L.A. design research agency. They will speak to today’s leaders in fashion, art, design and architecture - among them Jeffrey Deitch, Dirk Schönberger, Hunter Drohojowska-Philp and Eric Buterbaugh. Over eight episodes, they will explore the convergence of art and sport with fashion, sustainability, luxury sneakers and the metaverse. With the addition of on the ground audio and video reporting, they will keep listeners up to date on current developments and conversations in fashion and luxury.

Over its first two seasons, the series has drawn fashion and design luminaries, retailers, and chroniclers including Rose Apodaca, Nicolas Bijan, James Bond, Joan Juliet Buck, Ruth E. Carter, Michael Chow, Simon Doonan, Pari Ehsan, Robert Hayman, Stephen Jones OBE, Jay Leno, Faye McLeod, Dame Zandra Rhodes, Cameron Silver and Sergio Zambon, who spoke with past host Bronwyn Cosgrave about the intoxicating combination of fashion, art and entertainment that put Rodeo Drive on the map, what they envisioned for the future, and what was happening on the street as retailers and businesses navigated the pandemic amidst a moment of reckoning for racial and social justice. Among the makers and creators who dreamed up Rodeo Drive and helped establish it as a global style destination Tom Blumenthal, José Eber, David Foster, Merle Ginsberg, Paul Goldberger, Stefano Ricci, Niccolò Ricci, Filippo Ricci were joined by Mattia Agazzi, Steven Gaines, Sara Gay Forden, Iris Ko, Ming Liu, Royal Kennedy Rodgers, Greg Simonian, Kathy Vance, Rayni Williams and Tamtam, whose innovative fashion, hospitality, media and entertainment ventures continue to establish a new order for the iconic fashion thoroughfare.
