On episode 23 I invited a good friend of mine from High School - Devon Garvie! We’ve always shared a common passion for the faith! Join us as we discuss Grace, Law & Repentance.
"Cheap grace is the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance, baptism without church discipline, communion without confession, absolution without personal confession. Cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without Jesus Christ." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer
“Grace is only Grace when you know and understand how much it cost the giver. Grace always costs the giver. We have cheapened grace to the point where you can claim all the benefits of the Christian faith without actually surrending your will to God's. #NoMoreLukewarmChristians #SetAFireDownInMySoul”

"Because God created this organic union of the two sexes, no one should desecrate His art by cutting them apart. Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. Marriage isn’t for everyone. Some, from birth seemingly, never give marriage a thought. Others never get asked—or accepted. And some decide not to get married for kingdom reasons. But if you’re capable of growing into the largeness of marriage, do it.” Jesus
Jesus said, “Moses provided for divorce as a concession to your hard heartedness, but it is not part of God’s original plan. I’m holding you to the original plan, and holding you liable for adultery if you divorce your faithful wife and then marry someone else. I make an exception in cases where the spouse has committed adultery.”

Adultery
Cheating: A dress rehearsal for adultery
“Why spill the water of your springs in the streets, having sex with just anyone?”
Proverbs 5:16
People are using their dating phase to practise fornication and adultery. They are perfecting the art of cheating without getting caught.
If you’re having sex with someone that you are not married to, repent.
O, the beauty of free will and choice.... What will you use your dating phase for?

May you never be a Christian who utters such words without seeking to understand first. May you question the heart and motive of any person whoever utters such words, especially if it is the reason given for someone leaving a church.
Do not be easily beguiled. Ask for the full story. You will be surprised to find that ”offence” is not a contagious airborne disease. People actually do things to others and instead of just apologising - it is easier to paint the other person as offended.
Yes, Jesus is The Rock of Offence but His mandate is not to offend. His mandate was the gospel and offence was the result of being confronted in truth. Did I mention truth IN LOVE?
When you hurt someone - apologise. God loves his other children too. 😉

I retell my journey from a super low self-esteem to a super healthy esteem. Confidence is a make or break and fortune favours the valiant. Your low self-esteem is causing you to miss out on amazing opportunities in life - get rid of it ASAP.
Sometimes the thoughts you have about yourself are a result of the people around you, and are not truly your own. I sincerely believe that confidence is a necessity if you do not want to forgo opportunities.
PS: You’re only a decision away.

On episode 18 of the Tshepishow Podcast we tackle the topic of “witchcraft":
“The attempt to control people and making them do what you want by the use of any spirit that is not the Holy Spirit: Manipulation, Intimidation and Domination. Witchcraft uses guilt.
One purpose common to all forms of witchcraft is control. Whenever any religious activity seeks to control other people, the influence of witchcraft is probably at work.
New Age studies, hypnosis and acupuncture are but a few of the many forms taken by witchcraft to entice innocent people into the territory of Satan.” Derek Prince Legacy Teaching

On episode 17 of the Tshepishow Podcast - I explore the topic of alcohol.🍷 I’ve been thinking about this for years now! 😂 I’ve been curious about people’s reasons for drinking. I also discovered that I was wrong about alcohol with regards to scripture 🙊 I checked my own hypocrisy: eating swine 🐖 whilst spurning fermented grapes. 🍇 🙈 I’m changing my thinking as we speak... Thank you to every person who participated in my poll and answered my unending questions ♥️
I discuss my fear of addiction, dependency, rape and introducing alcohol to my children because of my own desires. I also share the importance of deciding what kind of lineage and legacy you would like to leave behind.
The purpose of this podcast is for you to challenge the reason that you drink - to establish whether you drink because you made the conscious decision to...or not. The right reason makes all the difference. External influences and environment play a huge role in the decisions we make whether we realise it or not. So consult God about it - He knows your life’s mission and purpose. He knows why He created you 😉 Luke 1:15
Drink and be merry 🥂 lol (as Christ permits ;))
“The Recabites' code of conduct resembled that of the Nazirites, who took a special vow of dedication to God (Nu 6). For two hundred years, they had obeyed their ancestors' vow to abstain from wine. While the rest of the nation was breaking its covenant with God, these people were steadfast in their commitment. God wanted the rest of his people to remain as committed to their covenant with him as the Recabites were to their vow. God had Jeremiah tempt the Recabites with wine to demonstrate their commitment and dedication. God knew they wouldn't break their vow.
There is a vivid contrast between the Rekabites and the other Israelites:
(1) The Rekabites kept their vows to a fallible human leader; the people of Israel broke their covenant with their infallible divine leader.
(2) Jonadab told his family one time not to drink, and they obeyed; God commanded the Israelites constantly to turn from sin, and they refused.
(3) The Rekabites obeyed laws that dealt with temporal issues; Israel refused to obey God's laws, which dealt with eternal issues.
(4) The Rekabites had obeyed for hundreds of years; Israel had disobeyed for hundreds of years.
(5) The Rekabites would be rewarded; Israel would be punished. We
are often willing to observe customs merely for the sake of tradition–how
much more should we obey God's Word because it is eternal!

This episode is inspired by a question that Gomolemo submitted. Funny enough, I had written a blog post detailing the title concept. He asked me to do a podcast on the topic of “Trusting God When The Answer Is No.” This prompted me to ask why God is supposedly saying “no” to some people.
Does God really say “no” or are you praying amiss? What are you asking for that God has to deny your request? Are you asking Him to manipulate the will of another person? Are you asking with the wrong heart and motive? Is your character equipped to receive what you’re asking for?
The onus is on you to come into agreement with Him. You need to submit your will to His word. Grow in God. Abide in The True Vine.

On episode 15 of the Tshepishow Podcast I invited businessman Mbulelo Mnguni to discuss the principle of integrity. We had an in depth chat regarding business, government, and relationships. We also touched on corruption and bribery.
Integrity (or lack thereof) always affects other people!
“Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity and dignity.
May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.”

On this episode I explain the story of how I came to Christ and how my life was radically changed. I was a sinner headed to hell, despite growing up in a Christian home until Jesus came to my rescue and saved my life.
He gave my life meaning and purpose. He gave me beauty for ashes! 🥂
Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.

We celebrated a beautiful Women’s Month as a country, despite our challenges.
On this episode (12) I share some of the shocking things that I heard that led me to challenge the root of my beliefs.
Join me as I explore the feminist agenda and how it contrasts the Biblical Model for Womanhood. 🥂
"Your job is to speak out on the things that make for solid doctrine. Guide older women into lives of reverence so they end up as neither gossips nor drunks, but models of goodness. By looking at them, the younger women will know how to love their husbands and children, be virtuous and pure, keep a good house, be good wives. We don’t want anyone looking down on God’s Message because of their behaviour. Also, guide the young men to live disciplined lives." Titus 2:1-6
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every rebellious thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

"All humans are simultaneously sinful and loved. All people, regardless of their story, are deeply and unconditionally loved by God, each created with profound dignity and worth, not one more than another. This is more than mere religious happy talk — it’s truth whether one is gay, straight, or otherwise. But, all people are also stricken with a terminal illness: sin. Everyone. No exceptions and to the same degree. Our sin demands our repentance and needs forgiveness, and God’s love and grace are where we find both. This is basic Christianity and the great equalizer of all people."
In Episode 11 of the Tshepishow Podcast I discuss Christianity and Sexuality. It is not an attack on anyone - in fact, I discuss the sins of “heterosexual” people. “We all have some manner of sexual drive that compels us to disobey God’s design for sexuality. But, while temptation is universal, it’s different from sin.”
I put the word in inverted commas because our identity is not in our sexuality. We are more than our sexuality. Do not reduce yourself to your sexuality.
Be sure to check out the difference between Ceremonial Laws and Moral Laws from The Old Testament.
PS - There’s always somebody who has conquered what you’re struggling with. Find ‘em! For help. Let us subjugate our sexual (and many other) desires to our faith commitment.
Oh, and yes - you have free will. You’re free to do whatever. You’re free to serve whomever.

In Episode 10 of the Tshepishow Podcast we discuss exploitation of the vulnerable members in our society: domestic workers.
“All the workers you’ve exploited and cheated cry out for judgment. The groans of the workers you used and abused are a roar in the ears of the Master Avenger. You’ve looted the earth and lived it up. But all you’ll have to show for it is a fatter than usual corpse. In fact, what you’ve done is condemn and murder perfectly good persons, who stand there and take it.” James 5:4 MSG
I ask these tough questions and provide possible solutions:
Do you pay fair wages or are you exploiting your helpers? People are desperate for work but that is no excuse to exploit their vulnerability. If you can't afford the minimum wage - reduce their work days.

“IS BLACK KING?"
"IS WITCHCRAFT NOW CULTURE?"
“IS CHRISTIANITY THE WHITE MAN'S RELIGION?"
“ARE MY ANCESTORS DEMONS?"
“WHY CAN'T I WORSHIP BOTH?"
“IS GOD AGAINST MY CULTURE?
“WHERE WILL I GET MY SENSE OF IDENTITY?"
In Episode 9 I invited my good friend @__ZandileM to answer all these questions pertaining to Black Identity and connecting to roots. We talk Ancestral Worship, Sangomas, Blood covenants, Mediums, Spiritism, Idolatry, Magic, Sleep Paralysis and other occult practices.
“The Israelites were naturally curious about the occult practices of the Canaanite religions. But Satan is behind the occult, and God flatly forbade Israel to have anything to do with it. Today people are still fascinated by horoscopes, fortune-telling, witchcraft, and bizarre cults. Often their interests comes from the desire to know and control the future. But Satan is no less dangerous today than he was in Moses’ time. In the Bible, God tells us all we need to know about what is going to happen. The information Satan offers is likely to be distorted or completely false. With the trustworthy guidance of the Holy Spirit through the Bible and the church, we don’t need to turn to occult sources for faulty information.” Deuteronomy 18:9-13
Surrender your gifts to Christ. Use them for good. God is good.

Word on the street is there’s no submission in homes. My question is why not? It seems everyone is submitting and honouring anyone and everyone except their own spouse.
You have a choice to get married or not to get married. But once you decide to get married - submission is part of the package.
Do not marry someone that you don’t respect because you will not be exempt from honouring him.
In Episode 8 of The TSHEPISHOW Podcast, we discuss how you can be a CEO by day and a submitted wife by night - submission doesn't take away from your vocation. Don't treat your husband with disdain and contempt.
God's order brings peace and blessing.

Everyone is quick to refute being a racist but no one is taking the time to listen, examine their heart, ask for forgiveness and repent.
On this episode, I invited my good friend Noêl Hattingh to discuss the "non-complexities" of race.
If you don’t think you’re racist - you’ll never repent of racism. Having a black friend or colleague does not mean that you’re not racist - we would have to ask them. You cannot vouch for yourself. Your friends of the same race also cannot vouch for you in this regard.
Racism is a global pandemic. We can only fight it united, empowered by the love of Christ. We cannot legislate morality but we can aggressively pray for hearts to repent and turn to God.
Remember, we are spirit beings, not racial beings. We should not be divided by physical characteristics; skin is not eternal.

“Divorce is the worst kinda death because you never really get closure. EVERY TIME you see your ex there is a resurrection and let me tell you !!
If you fully understood the devastation of divorce you wouldn’t rush for marriage so easily.
Marriage is not something to be taken lightly. It’s not a cure for a lack of self-control don’t rush into something just because ...
Take time and fully enjoy your singleness at the right time God will bring the right person for you

That which God hates - Satan loves to do. Proverbs 6:17
In Episode 5 I explain one of the many problems of making this a “Women’s Rights” issue. One being that it excuses men from taking responsibility. We all know that a woman cannot impregnate herself.
We need to learn to see things from God’s perspective.
Men are just as guilty for funding abortions.

In honour of Father’s Day we talk “Daddy Issues” - super uncomfortable. Grab your tissues. “Daddy issues” is an informal phrase for the psychological challenges resulting from an absent or abnormal relationship with one's father, often manifesting in a distrust of, or sexual desire for, men who act as father figures. One of my favourite biblical model for fatherhood is Job. When his children’s celebrations ended—sometimes after several days—Job would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice. Connect with me @tshepisho_ on Instagram!
