Bro) In 2000 (duh) WCW decided to take some stagnant midcarders (Hugh Morrus, Lash LeRoux, Van Hammer and Chavo Guerrero) change their names and make them a comedy stable. When it didn't catch on they added Booker T to the mix where he introduced his G.I. Bro persona! It's an amazing example of what happens when you take a stupid idea and then put zero effort into it. It's a stupid car wreck you just can't look away from.

He went from commentator for the World Bodybuilding Federation, to narcissistic heel to finally getting a white hot babyface turn by bodyslamming the champion Yokozuna. But then Vince and the WWF made a decision during their match at Summerslam that has to be the stupidest idea of all time and it effectively killed Luger's race to the top.

Therefore not a whole lot of thought went into the storylines Shawn Michaels and Triple H were a part of. Thus we are led to Little People's Court. On the Christmas 2009 episode of RAW DX was tried by a jury of little people under the ring for their abuse of Hornswoggle. We promise it's even dumber than it sounds.

They would have a very interesting feud involving cross-dressing and more. Then Vince killed the gimmick but not for the reasons you would expect.

Back in early 1997, before the Attitude Era was in full swing, WWF decided to run a weekly live show from nightclubs in NYC. It was called Shotgun Saturday Night and it was an attempt at bringing "edgier" content to the company. Well it was a complete failure and gave us some moments that are simply unbelievable. The main one was when Sunny had sex with Elmo! Others included, The Flying Nuns, Hog Farmers, midget wrestling with Jim Cornette, Honky Tonk Man karaoke, a pregnant Goldust and so much more!

Season 6 - Episode #44: The Trial Of Eric Bischoff and Our Ready To Rumble 2 Pitch Eric Bischoff had been the GM of Raw for about 3 years and Vince felt his time was up. So he held a trial for Bischoff to see if he truly hadn't lived up to his promises. What followed was a extremely enjoyable episode of Raw with a very bizarre courtroom. It ends with the greatest character exist in WWE history and it involves a dump truck.
Liv Morgan has made a splash on Twitter by going nuts over the cult wrestling film Ready To Rumble starring our Patron Saint David Arquette. She also has expressed a desire for a sequel. David Arquette responded by saying she could play his daughter. Well we have come up with the perfect pitch for a Ready To Rumble sequel and hope you guys agree!

Season 6 - Episode #43: It's Me Austin! (The Greater Power/Higher Power) and the 20th Anniversary of David Arquette as WCW Champion WWE has a history of ruining well built up angles but this one is by far the worst. The Greater Power (also known as Higher Power) story was a massive one that spanned five months and utilized the biggest names in the company. It had good, if not bizarre, character development and was pretty intriguing at least. But in five seconds they threw it completely down the drain with the worst reveal in wrestling history.
We also have to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our show's Patron Saint David Arquette winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. On April 26th, 2000, he pinned Eric Bischoff to become the first actor to hold the gold. He went on a memorable two week run culminating in a heel turn at Slamboree in a triple cage match with DDP and Jeff Jarrett.

Season 6 - Episode #42: WWE Releases and The Unfortunate Career of Muhammad Hassan This was a brutal week for many WWE wrestlers as a spree of releases torn through the company.
For the show this week we go back to 2004-5 when a new character debuted. Muhammad Hassan was portrayed initially as an Arab-American who had turned on America due to racist oppression in the wake of 9/11. It was actually a pretty well done heel character both from a writing perspective and from Hassan. He started to rise in the ranks and was being positioned for a massive push when it all came crashing down due to an awful segment at the worst time.

This week we have a topic that goes from pretty weird to downright freaky. Perry Saturn found himself in a feud with Chris Jericho in January of 1999 in WCW. It started with a crooked referee Scott Dickinson helping Jericho win on several occasions. This lead to a match at Souled Out where if Saturn lost he had to wear a dress. It would escalate to Saturn becoming a cross-dressing Gothic transvestite looking character and a dog collar match. You don't want to miss this one!

Season 6 - Episode #36: The Worst Wrestling PPV Of All Time People like to crap on 2000s WCW but the early to mid 90s might have been worse. Uncensored 1995 was a PPV that was advertised as Unsanctioned, Unauthorized, Unbelievable. In other words it was going to be so violent and crazy that WCW themselves would not sanction any match so there would be no rules. It proceeded to feature special stipulations (aka rules) in every match but two, have a match that was literally censored, and have a main event that was sanctioned. Also the main event featured Hogan beating a man who wasn't even his opponent to win. It's absolutely insane. Also we talk this week in wrestling, Mark went to a local show with an unsafe cage match and the festival where the premier of David Arquette's wrestling documentary You Cannot Kill David Arquette was cancelled.

Season 6 - Episode #34: Attending AEW In Atlanta and Mark's Top 10 and Worst 10 Wrestling Themes After all these months AEW finally came to the wrestling Mecca of Atlanta for Dynamite! Mark of course had to be there in person and is ready to bring some inside information into what a live AEW crowd is like. The show was also arguable the best one AEW has produced yet with by far the greatest show ending with Cody moonsauting off the top of the cage and beating Wardlow in his hometown!

Season 6 - Episode #33: 2001: A XFL Disaster So the XFL Season 2 is in full swing and we are enjoying it quite a lot. Mark with his Renegades and Harris with his Guardians. But let's not forget that it was in 2001 that Vince McMahon originally decided to start a football league called the XFL. That time it failed miserably. There were so many insane things that took place that year and Harris has made a list of 10 we go over to explain just how nuts it was. From Vince trying to turn it into a wrestling promotion to inappropriate cheerleaders to unnecessary injuries and to He Hate Me it never ceased to be, well, insane.

The XFL has released official theme songs for every team and we go through them and see if they are any good.
Bowling For Soup, the amazing pop-punk band has released "Alexa Bliss" which is an incredible song all about our favorite goddess.
For the main show we are talking about something that was a pretty awful and offensive angle WWE did. Back in 2005 Chavo Guerrero decided to denounce his Mexican heritage and become "white middle-class." Needless to say it was...well...interesting.

Season 6 - Episode #30: Some Of The Worst/Dumbest Matches In WCW History (Yapapi Indian Strap Match, Junkyard Hardcore Invitational & Catch-as-catch-can match) There is so much to unpack this week. First we talk recent news in wrestling including AEW Dynamite, NWA Powerrr and R-Truth's amazing promo with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman on RAW.
Then for the topic we dissect three of the stupidest matches WCW has ever had. The first was a good idea and had good participants with Kidman and Dean Malenko in a Catch-As-Catch-Can Match. But didn't turn out right after a big mistake.
Then we go to the Junkyard Hardcore Invitational where 15 wrestlers battled in a random parking lot with junked cars. It's impossible to follow and boring.
Finally we go to the best one with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair in a Yapapi Indian Strap Match. Hogan gives us two of the greatest promos in history and then the match doesn't even follow it's own rules!

"Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper has been involved in many Christmas angles over the years. We will cover three in particular here but mostly we are focused on the one from 1985 where he appeared on an episode of Tuesday Night Titans. He came with a film he wanted to show. It turned out to be his version of A Christmas Carol with Piper himself in the role of Scrooge!

Season 6 - Episode #20: Vince McMahon Beats Up Stephanie McMahon WWE went through a phase in 2003 where they ramped up the "soap opera" aspect of the show. This angle might be the peak of it but it also has some surprisingly good elements. Vince is full evil heel and Stephanie is an over babyface and the program they have together is truly emotional and well played by both. The match, from No Mercy 2003, is ridiculous and perfect for this show! Also we start a new current events segment where we keep it short and sweet.

Season 6 - Episode #9: Shawn Michaels The Super Seller It was an outstanding build with some of Shawn Michaels best heel work. And it was turned into a joke. In 2005 Hulk Hogan had returned to the WWE again and started a program with Michaels. Michaels turned heel and did a great job hyping what was supposed to be a three match series starting at SummerSlam. Hogan had other ideas and instead everything was thrown out to have Hogan win a classic Hogan match and that be it. Shawn was none too happy and the result is the best selling in any match in wrestling history!

Season 2 Episode #16: The History of WCW Road Wild In August of 1996 WCW started it's rise to become the biggest wrestling company in the world. The nWo had just started and everything was hot. But Eric Bischoff decided it would be a good idea to go into the middle of nowhere in Sturgis, South Dakota and host a PPV at the world's biggest motercycle rally in a parking lot for free admission. The quality of life was terrible for the wrestlers, most were unhappy and the work rate suffered. So naturally they went back three more times. Season 2: Episode #15: Chamber of Horrors AKA Death Row WCW was a little rough in the early 1990s. But every now and then they had a gem and this was one. At Halloween Havoc 1991 they had a Chamber of Horrors match where the goal was to put your opponent in an electric chair and pull the lever. Yes seriously. This was in the wake of popular tough man shows that were on TV at the time as well as the UFC which had started a few years earlier.
