A thankful heart acknowledges all the things we have to be thankful for and has an attitude of gratitude.
If we are to live Coram Deo (Before the Face of God), our entire lives must be submitted to Him as an act of worship.
We hide from God from a place of distrust; we either don't trust His plan or we don't trust Him to forgive.
We prove we belong as we follow and imitate Jesus Christ through our love for one another.
The Bible tells us that to say, "I am without sins" makes us a liar. But what do we do when we sin?
The Word is authoritative because it is derived from God, can be proven and is profitable to us.
No greater purpose or joy for a mother than to lead her children to a life spent in eternity with Christ.
We have been praying for the opportunity to Reach Out. Today we learn the practical applications when that opportunity is presented.
The heart of God is to reconcile people to Himself. As those who have been reconciled, it is our responsibility to reconcile others to Him.
"He will deliver us....but even if He does not...". This is the faithful statement of those willing to pay the price.
God's desire for us drove Him to extend grace. Why? Because He desires reconciliation over judgment.
The prodigal son "came to himself...." and in so doing, repented. In repentance, he found his way back home to an awaiting father.
Our refusal to love completely, as Christ loves us, minimizes (or completely destroys) our ability to reach our community for Christ.
We are made righteous in Christ Jesus. We relentlessly pursue righteousness by becoming more Christlike.
Relentless pursuit requires letting some things go, standing in Christ's righteousness, and reaching forward toward Him!
As our revelation of God increases, we should pray that our vocabulary of praise increases.

In Baptism, we declare the sufficiency of Christ by making a physical declaration of our spiritual position.
We have been commanded to MAKE disciples. Our responsibility is to declare Christ as Lord.
All things are spiritual but not all spirits are Christian. Some are not Christian at all, some sound Christian but are not and some are fundamentally Christian. Join us to learn to discern between them.
In regard to our giving of our earthly riches, there are dangers, duties, and blessings.
It's God, not us, who determines how He will be worshiped. Reverence and adoration for who He is and what He has done should drive our giving.
A stagnant church will eventually be a dead church. We are called to be in constant transition so that people may be loved according to the example of Christ, to the Glory of God!

Jesus is our JOY, our GOD, and abounds with GOODNESS. These truths should cause us to have a heart that is thankFULL
In order to manifest the power of God in our prayers we must pray IN JESUS, IN HIS WILL, & IN FAITH.
Pride is the genesis of all sin. Humility in prayer, and our pursuit of it, kills pride in us.
Jesus intercedes so that we may walk in UNITY and ultimately that we may be GLORIFIED, "so that our Joy may be complete".
We have joy, even in persecution, because Jesus prayed for our protection and our sanctification.
What can be accomplished in Spirit-Led prayer can never be accomplished in our own intellect or strength.
"It's not the length of the prayer but the sincerity of it that ultimately causes our prayers to be effective." - Pastor Jim Kubic

Lesson 3: The Vintage Church was so powerful because they knew the Holy Spirit was working in them, around them and that the results were His.

2020 has been a tough year; it's true. BUT GOD has shown Himself trustworthy in every situation.
Jesus is the ONE spoken of by God, through the prophets; the ONE who frees the oppressed, brings an end to conflict, an is the perfect King.
In Genesis 3:15, God made a promise to His people. When the fullness of time came, God fulfilled that promise in Christ Jesus.

God made a cosmic declaration of war against sin and sent Jesus as the manifestation of that declaration.

Jesus "emptied Himself" setting aside the glories of His Father's throne, was begotten in the filth of birth, taking on man's frailties and his very servile, lowly-nature- SACRIFICING so much so we could ACQUIRE so much.

Lesson 5 - Increased Fruitfulness is impossible without intimacy. We have been called to abide and in abiding, produce.

Because we are PRIVILEGED to be part of God's house, because we have been CHOSEN by Him to receive His love - We have been made CAPABLE of being who we are called to be.

Lesson 4- Although we should never approach God with a “what’s in it for me?” attitude, there are blessing promised to those who Pursue Him.
Lesson 3- We have been called to “put on” the new self. This means we have to stop wearing “old self” stuff. #PursuingHoliness
Join us for part 2 of “Why Holiness?” as we discuss the remaining three “motivations” for #PursuingHoliness.
Lesson 1 - Pursuing Holiness, simply defined is “to chase Christlikeness with the intent to catch.” We have been called to be holy. Ever wonder why?
Lesson 3- Jesus is the Prince of Peace! He commands peace and all peace is through Him and from Him. #Peace
