Host Fred LeFebvre has over 40 years in radio and co-host Jim Beard is a lifelong comic book aficionado, editor, and writer of pulp fiction.

For the coronavirus edition of Comic Chaos Fred and Jim practiced social distancing with Jim on the phone, Fred in studio. Almost every business is being impacted by this health crisis but how is it affecting a business that relies on people coming in and touching the things they are considering. Will this force comic book shops to rethink the business model? If they don't is this the end of many smaller shops in states that are imposing non-essential businesses to close?

We also talk about two great actors we lost this week Kirk Douglas and Robert Conrad. Comic-con season starts soon and Jim will be at quite a few, we'll check his calendar.
A professor in TX says a white woman shouldn't have written a book of fiction about a Mexican family. Can only white people write about white characters, and African-Americans write AF characters? Where would comic books be if that were the norm back in the day?

Alan Brennert is our guest this week. Brennert has worked on Wonder Woman TV show, Buck Rogers, LA Law, The New Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits and numerous comic book stories in his long career. His "To Kill A Legend" Batman story is considered a fan favorite. Brennert also has written for Star Trek for Marvel, and did four issues of The Brave And The Bold. He continue to write to this day.
