Welcome back to another heroic episode of "Sorry You're in My Seat," where your hosts Aaron and James embark on another cinematic adventure, armed with humor and a knack for calling themselves the true Heroes of the podcast realm.

This week, James took the plunge into the realm of cinematic exorcisms with "The Pope's Exorcist" – a film that left him in stitches with its over-the-top, ridiculous fun. In a quest for redemption, he also sat through "Retribution," a movie so sedentary that it had him questioning if Liam Neeson had finally hung up his action-hero boots, choosing to take a comfortable seat for the majority of the film. And to add a touch of charm to his week, James dived into the world of "The Lost King."

Meanwhile, Aaron embarked on a marathon, revisiting the zombie apocalypse with a rewatch of "The Walking Dead." Netflix had its hooks in him too, courtesy of the Beckham documentary that offered a glimpse into the life of the iconic football legend. Attempting the Herculean feat of binge-watching the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Aaron and his wife valiantly made it through three movies, proving that even Heroes have their limits. And just to spice things up, Aaron took a cinematic detour with "Reptile."

Tune in for laughs, banter, and a dose of cinematic heroism as your hosts Aaron and James dissect, critique, and celebrate the world of movies on this week's episode of "Sorry You're in My Seat." Grab your popcorn, because these Heroes are here to entertain!

This week our heroes decide to revisit some movies (and one TV Series) that they didn't like from their past. Maybe it was a casting choice, a visual thing, or just the feel of a film that put them off. But time has past. Our heroes have changed, they're older now, more mature and balder. Has time mellowed their opinions? Has time turned these once hated films into something worthy of memory? Are these films....REDEEMED?

With lockdown in full affect, the British people are locked at home and forced to stream away, so this week our heroes each bring 3 films they've never talked about before.

Listen as James makes it known he didn't fully listen to Aaron's solo episode as he talks about the lockdown phenomenon that is The Platform. He also brings quirky black comedy Dead in a Week...or your money back and White Boy Rick.

Aaron takes on three films, firstly The King, a historical war drama and then 2020's controversial, The Hunt. Was it really as controversial as the media made out? And finally, The Discovery, a science fiction that deals with dark and almost taboo subjects and casts Jason Segel outside his comfort zone? How does he do? Find out!

Finally Sam bring us 3 varying films that only we would bring! 2019's Vivarium starring Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg. What's it about? I really don't know. Sam also brings us Wunmi Mosaku and Sope Dirisu in His House, the 2020 horror thriller. And then Sam talks about Color Out of Space. Nicolas Cage in a film about H.P. Lovecraft's short story? I think it might just be a match made in heaven!

Little did George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg know, that while vacationing together to escape their recent successes, they would birth the coolest character and the greatest trilogy of all time. "Better than James Bond". A character that could take on the Nazis, Voodoo cults, teach a group of hormonal teenagers, wear a hat and seem cool and not a knob, out run a boulder, take a punch and still have time to rob many MANY graves. IT'S INDIANA JONES, BITCHES!

Finally Sam has come onboard and gotten round to watching the greatest trilogy (and one TERRIBLE movie) and our heroes can't wait to go back and find out if the characters and movies pass the test of time.

Is Brody still MVP? Is Connery still the greatest on-screen father of all time? Yet still the worse? Is Crystal Skull the worst thing to happen to your childhood? Which is best? Ark? Temple? Grail? Obviously not Skull.

Hello and Welcome to Sorry! You're In My Seat, a weekly podcast which unites three best friends on a quest to find the greatest movies of all time.

Once again our heroes find themselves forgetting a special occasion as the podcast goes into it's third season. In a last minute effort they turn to Die Hard 3 as inspiration.

Lets go back to 1995 when a man calling himself "Simon" begins a reign of terror in the streets of New York: he threatens to detonate bombs around the city unless Detective John McClane cooperates in a game of "Simon Says". McClane has a bad hangover and a bad attitude, and isn't in the mood for games, especially this one....

Do you love Die Hard? whats your favourite in the series (one, obviously)? Download this episode and revisit a classic!

Hello and welcome to Sorry! You're In My Seat - a weekly podcast which unites three best friends on a quest to find the greatest movies of all time.

This week, Jak Thorn from The Utopia Project joins our Heroes as they play on the theme of it being episode 101. No, not dalmatians, this week they take on Movie Room 101.

The concept is simple: There are 7 rounds in which our hosts can pitch film tropes and their least favourite film cliches into room 101 to be lost forever. The only thing they have to do, is convince the others players that their idea deserves it more.

Also this week, Our heroes discuss the UKs number one film on Netflix, THE OLD GUARD.

Hello and welcome to the 100th episode of Sorry! You're In My Seat.

To celebrate this milestone occasion our heroes look back at one the greatest and worst movies of all time. A film disliked by fans and hated by critics, a film that flopped at the box office and sunk a movie studio. It's MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE! Starring Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella. The film we all desperately want to love.... but can't.

The ultimate Good vs. Evil as He-Man faces off against Skeletor, battling for Castle Greyskull and the power of the universe. Inspired by the hugely popular Mattel toy range, comic book series and animated show, it wasn't until 1987 that He-Man faced his most deadly foe; Hollywood screenwriters.

This cult movie is one of the best 'It's so bad its actually great' films of all time. In only his third movie Dolph Lundgren leads as the pant wearing, sword swinging, muscle man from Eternia, whilst Frank Langella gives a performance of a lifetime as the villain Skeletor.

So OK, the story line isn't great, the effects don't age well and the issues on set are almost legendary; but you can't help falling for this films charm.

Join Aaron, Sam and James as they walk through the whole movie and reminisce over the magic fo the 80's. Also towards the end of the show, our heroes review the last 100 episodes and put each other on trail for crimes committed in the podcast.

Thank you so much for the support and for downloading the show.

Hello and welcome to episode 98 of Sorry! You're In My Seat - a weekly podcast which unites three best friends on a quest to find the greatest movies of all time. In this weeks show our heroes take on an epic challenge - How do you survive a Disaster Movie?

Aaron, Sam and James have done extensive research ... kind of. Between them they've watched Geostorm, 2012, Volcano, Dante's Peak, Knowing and Twister. What have they learnt? They've learnt that Disaster movies are pretty bad! But how do you survive a volcano, a tsunami, earthquakes, Hurricanes and Gerard Butler films?

Listen this week as our heroes give their top tips and ultimate movie survival advice, for example; Stay away from monuments, don't live near a volcano and listen to the scientists! like seriously. If they say run, you run. If they say wear a mask.... don't be an idiot, wear a mask.

Ok, disaster movies get a bad rep for being over the top, chaotic and at times laughable - but they are undeniably entertaining. Who doesn't like seeing shit get blown up as the heroes either try to prevent annihilation or run from it.

Enjoy this show - and don't forget to leave a review.

thanks

Hello and welcome to this weeks episode of Sorry! You're In My Seat - a weekly podcast which unites three best friends on a quest to find the greatest movies of all time.

As we enter week 11 of the UK's Corona virus lock-down, we can't help but notice how the lack of hairdressers is affecting some people. For some, this has been a chance to grow a beard, to go full Gandalf and grow a fierce face fleece. Its been a way to channel one's inner hipster and become a member of ZZ Top.

For others, quite the opposite. The temptation to save money on shampoo and to embrace a chrome dome has meant it's peak season for cue ball and uncle Fester jokes.

This week our heroes go head-to-head (or Beard-to-head) in an Olympic showdown picking their top movie beardies and top Hollywood baldies. Which movie characters would you pick for your all star line up?

As always, there is also plenty of film talk, including movie reviews of Yesterday, Fisherman's Friends and Brexit: The Uncivil War.

So what are you waiting for? this episode and all our shows are free to download - just remember to leave us a review :)

Hello and Welcome to another episode of Sorry! You’re In My Seat, a weekly podcast which unites three best friends on a journey to discover the truly best that movies have to offer.

This week our heroes travel further than ever before as they tackle the huge juggernaut that is Studio Ghibli. Being strangers to this craft our heroes turn to former guest Clare who will guide our them through the wonderful world of anime.

Please remember our heroes are merely fans with a love of cinema, and not experts. This is their first reaction to Studio Ghiblii! Sam opens us up with the tale of Princess Mononoke, bringing you in with the perfect gateway drug to the Studio work. And Sam achieves this all the way from Centre Parcs in Nottinghamshire where he is held prisioner by the local wildlife.

James struggles with his identity, as he slowly realises he might be Totoro, a large hairy loveable creature, who sleeps too often and achieves very little.

Claire lets us gorge ourselves on the beauty and majesty that is Spirited Away. Listen as everyone fawns and gushes over this cinematic masterpiece.

Just when you can’t get enough Aaron guides us through the fantastic story of Sophie and her journey in Howl’s Moving Castle.

This podcast finally answers the questions all anime fans have demanded to know; Which actual cannibal voiced Absel? Dubbed or subtitled? Who has been cast as Joe Exotic?

If you have opinions on Studio Ghibli then let us know! Please share, and if you like the episode feel free to comment and leave a review. Stay Safe

A PODCAST FOR FILMS LOVERS

Hello and welcome to episode 85 of Sorry! You're In My Seat - a podcast which unites three best friends on a quest to find the greatest movies of all time.

We live in the most unusual of times. A deadly virus is sweeping the globe and forcing people to stay indoors to slow the spread of the disease. At present, showing someone you care is NOT going to see them - I hope that wherever you are, you are safe, and that together we can get through this terrible time.

With this in mind our regular format has been interrupted. Sam, James and I are unable to meet to put together our usual 'lukewarm' / 'Slightly above average' / 'C+' podcast. Instead this week we have put together an episode of isolated recordings looking at what is available on streaming sites, including Disney+, which has just been released in the UK.

From Brave to Lady and the Tramp, to Tiger King and The Haunting of Hill House, join us for a more than usual eclectic episode.

We hope to resume normal broadcasting as soon as possible. Thank you for bearing with us.

Aaron, James, and Sam.Â
