Originally started as a podcast about uncluttering your life, “Podcast Without Pretense” is the successor to “Uncluttercast.” Eric Sandine, Jonathan Strickland and Iyaz Akhtar discuss anything that pops into their heads. We don’t know what we’ll talk about until we start recording.
We review "Glitch." It's the movie that had Jonathan Strickland say, "This movie is not good. It's a rom-com with little romance and zero comedy." Special disappearance by Eric's cat.
So it's come to this. There was a murder. A movie. A manilla envelope. Or we talked about yet another awful move, maybe even "#Horror."
We talked about the first episode of "Fuller House," season 3. Wonder how we got to Beverly Crusher? So do we.
We reviewed "3-Headed Shark Attack." Why? Because we hate ourselves. Next up is "Fuller House" season three, episode one. Why? Because Iyaz hates Eric (for this week).

Jonathan, Eric and Iyaz review "Death Race 2050," which is actually the second death racing movie they've covered in the history of PWP. After that, Jonathan devises a new challenge that either is brilliant or evil (or both).

In today's episode, we try to take on "Let's Be Evil." It's a sci-fi/horror-y kind of movie that has a lot of great concepts. The execution is a little less than great.
We reviewed "Maximum Ride," not to be confused with "Maximum Overdrive" or "Maximum Drive" (which may or may not be movies at all). If you like bird-related nomenclature, you'll love this movie. If you love movies, you will probably not love this movie. Either way, you will enjoy this episode because we watched this flocking thing so you don't have to.
Jonathan, Iyaz and Eric take on "Satanic." No, it has nothing to do with the "Titanic." However, the movie was quite lousy. Here's an alternate title to this episode for your amusement: "Jesus, take the wheel and find a gas station."

Because we re-reviewed "Rock & Roll Frankenstein" there are words in this episode that we hardly ever use in reality. Be warned. The next movie is "Love Wedding Marriage," which has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Today, the boys watched "Left Behind" starring Nic Cage. It was amazingly terrible and the gents let you know about it. This episode is plagued with problems and is far more interesting than anything that happens in the movie, "Left Behind." #Fact.
Today's episode is all about "V/H/S Viral" starring a guy Jonathan knows. That doesn't stop us from dumping on parts of this movie. Next up, is the Nic Cage version of "Left Behind."

The guys watched "Blood Salvage" a.k.a. "Mad Jake." The movie has a special place in Jonathan's heart since he was an extra in the movie many years ago. We found the movie at YouTube, but that doesn't mean that link will work too long.

"Evolver" is the movie and it's no "Thankskilling," but it tries to be. Next up, "Twist of Faith" starring Toni Braxton. It's got to be better than "Evolver," right? Oh, and we're sorry for the audio and/or video quality. Gremlins.

Jonathan despised Iyaz's pick of "Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys" so much that he took seven pages of notes on the movie. His distaste for the movie was so great, he even swayed Eric a little into the dark side.
Jonathan, Eric, and Iyaz reconvene to discuss a Bollywood movie called "Singham." It's the story of a cop who tries to take on a corrupt criminal kingpin and it's unlike a lot of movies they've seen. It's actually fun.
"Strange Frame: Love and Sax" is the movie we watched because Eric picked it. In other news, Eric can't pick movies for a while. Next up is "Singham" Sigham disappears from Netflix on 11/14, so watch while you still can.
