Welcome to The Tony G Show, I'm the host, Tony G. I am a broadcaster for Saint Norbert College Athletics, a public address announcer for the Green Bay Booyah of the Northwoods League in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, and am also a producer for the largest sports-talk radio station in Northeast Wisconsin, 107.5 + 1400 The Fan WDUZ. I am the creator and host of the show, but also have a close friend and trusty sidekick who keeps me in line, named Will McCormick.
Will is an excelled photographer and TRIPLE major at Saint Norbert College in Accounting, Finance, and Economics. He tends to add his own sports-spice on certain subjects within the content of the show.
Together, we produce 25 regular episodes per season, which includes 3 argumentative, conversational, and thought-provoking segments on different and recent stories from the sports world. In the fall, our shows include a fan-favorite segment entitled, "Tony G's Picks of the Week" where I pick 5 games from the upcoming NFL week at every time slot (Thursday Night Football, Sunday noon game, Sunday afternoon game, Sunday Night Football, and Monday Night Football).
Also, every season we host "The Tony G Show Interviews" which are special edition episodes featuring guests from the sports world, frequently from the Saint Norbert Athletics department of Players, Coaches, and other faculty members.

The final episode of the illustrious history of The Tony G Show is here. The 173rd and FINAL episode includes a discussion about the Green Bay Packers NFL Draft Class in a segment that features an impromptu phone call to Matthew Swanson, the NFL Draft Expert for the podcast. Then, for one final time, Tony G discusses the Brewers season to this point and how the rest of the way will look for them in the MLB. To conclude the show, Will McCormick and Tony G embrace the history and the future in a teary-eyed goodbye to Tony G Nation.
A tradition for The Tony G Show as Jason Fonder visits the podcast once a season, but this time to say goodbye. Jason is a sports encyclopedia from Green Bay and has been close with Tony G for years, and at least once every season in The Tony G Show's history, he has come on the pod to talk sports. Today, he, along with Will McCormick and Tony G talk give three hot takes on the NBA in a brief basketball segment before turning to football and baseball. He discusses the off-season for the Seattle Seahawks as well as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, along with talking about Tom Brady playing into his 90s. Then he debates the better career between Albert Pujols and Miguel Cabrera along with other hot button topics in MLB like pitch clocks, baseball quality, and robot umpires. The show concludes with Jason Fonder commending Will and Tony G for their accomplishments in the podcast industry and bodes farewell to the podcast for one final time.
The NFL Draft Preview episode of The Tony G Show is here! Tony G and Will McCormick bring in a friend and NFL Draft Specialist, who is also the College Football expert of The Tony G Show, Matt Swanson to discuss the 2022 NFL Draft. In this episode, Matt Swanson gives his mock draft for the top 10 picks in the draft, with a surprise at #1. Then, Tony G has Swan mock the first 5 picks for the Packers in the draft, as well as another name to watch for Green Bay in the later rounds on day 3. The third and final segment of the show is a ranking of the top-5 QBs in the draft. To conclude the show, the trio of Will, Matt, & TG take a trip down memory lane with each other, taking a look back at their roots in SNC Radio.
Tony G is alone for today's Tony G Show, as Will McCormick will return for the final 3 episodes starting on Thursday. On today's show, Tony G argues that "robot umpires" are imminent, and it is because of how umpires are performing this season. He also discusses that pace of play rules need to be relaxed in the game of baseball in that first segment. Then, TG argues that back injuries need to be taken seriously in a segment defending Ben Simmons decision to sit out, but then he calls Ben Simmons a fool for being uninvested on the sideline. These protests at NBA games are getting out of hand and Tony G discusses why in the 3rd and final segment of the show.
Including this episode, there are only 5 more episodes of The Tony G Show. Today's show includes debates on Deebo Samuel and his future after asking for a trade away from the San Francisco 49ers. Then, Tony G looks at college basketball coaches and faculty stepping away from the sport and he speculates with Will about if there is any correlation to the modernization of the NCAA. To conclude, Tony G makes the case that Armando Gallaraga's near-perfect game should be overturned into a perfect game with recent developments after an argumentative paper from a law class to Rob Manfred.
Will and Tony G are reunited for today's show to discuss the NBA at the start of the Playoff season. The duo debates the credentials of Marcus Smart as the DPOY as well as Kyrie Irving, the blowouts so far, as well as scheduling changes that could be made to quicken up the entire playoff season for the basketball world. To conclude, Tony G discusses the Savanah Bananas in a conversation where he dubs the organization the WWE or the Harlem Globetrotters of the baseball world.
For today's episode, Tony G breaks down the heavy weekend between the Brewers and Cubs on opening weekend in the MLB. Then, Will & Tony G debate whether firing Frank Vogel was the right move for the Lakers after their sub-par season. Speaking of sub-par, the show concludes with a discussion of The Masters, Tiger Woods, and the birds at Augusta National...Again.
Today's show is all baseball as the day of this recording is also Opening Day for Major League Baseball. Both Will McCormick and Tony G discuss the isolation of fans from the front office of the MLB and what this season means to the game of baseball. Then Tony G discusses how the season will turn out for the Milwaukee Brewers with a hot-take on a particular season for one of the stud-starting pitchers in Milwaukee. To conclude, the duo discusses the reunion in St. Louis between the Cardinals and Albert Pujols for the last season in the storied career of the Cardinal legend.
Are the birds at Augusta National, home of the famous Master's tournament for the green jacket, real or are those sounds just piped onto the course? Tony G and Will tackle that impossible yet important question in today's episode, which also features Tony G making a prediction about who will win this year's gree jacket. To start the show, however, Tony G discusses the Final Four and National Championship at the conclusion of the March Madness Tournament in a discussion in which he relates the Kansas Jayhawks to The Green Bay Packers. The second segment for the show has Tony G and Will calling out the Miami Dolphins for their preposterous trade of Devante Parker to their in-division rival, the New England Patriots. Tony G rides solo once again to discuss the craziness of this past weekend, with more than just sports. He starts the show by spending 2-3 minutes on the bizarre moment during The Oscars Award Show between Chris Rocks and Will Smith and elaborates on who's side he's on in this whole matter. Then, he turns to sports to argue that Matt Ryan is not going to solve anything in Indianapolis for the Colts after his declined play following the prime of his career a few seasons ago. After that, Tony G reluctantly recaps his NCAA tourney predictions of the Sweet 16 and the Elite 8 and persists to predict the Final Four and National Championship, picking a team you won't want to see win. To conclude the show, Tony G talks about the potential future possibilities of Green Bay in hosting big events after their bid for the 2024 NFL Draft was denied in favor for Detroit.
Will McCormick has returned to The Tony G Show after his spring break vacation and returns to his normal self and goofy nature as co-host of the show. Tony G and Will discuss the NCAA March Madness Tournament and predict the final 4 rounds, starting with the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 this upcoming weekend. Then, the two discuss the major changes to the NFL landscape with the Browns acquiring Deshaun Watson from the Texans and Tyreek Hill departing Kansas City for Miami, both players were then given major money in their deals with their new teams. Mike Wallerich is the head coach of the St. Norbert College Baseball team, and someone who has a history with the host, Tony G. Tony G briefly played for Wallerich at SNC in 2018, which played a role in their relationship that started with Wallerich recruiting Tony during his high school days as a player. In this interview, Wallerich discusses his roots at SNC, as he has been a member of the community for around 15 years as a player & coach. Wally recalls memories from his career under Tom Winske, and what he learned from the former head coach that he uses in his coaching style today. Wallerich also talks about the struggles of being a part-time head coach, as well as the most rewarding facets of recently being awarded full-time status over this past winter. Along with a conversation about Mike's coaching style and philosophies, he details what it takes to be a good baseball player at the Division III level. Wally also talks about what motivates him to be the best coach and community member he can be, at St. Norbert College.
After a week off for spring break, The Tony G Show returns with a lot to talk about. Will McCormick is still enjoying his spring break festivities so Tony G rolls solo to discuss the sports world and its recent headlines. To start, Tony G analyzes the state of the Green Bay Packers with their recent transactions, the most talked-about of which, being the trade of Davante Adams. After that, TG breaks down what he describes as the overpay of the century with a certain MLB team and MLB former MVP. To conclude the show, another Wisconsin Sports Segment to recap the 2 games of the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA Tournament. This discussion also has a thank you and goodbye to Brad Davison, and maybe Johnny Davis?
Tony G returns after canceling Tuesday's show due to a sinus infection that put him in bed for the weekend prior. Therefore, he powers through the back-end of the infection for today's show with Will McCormick to discuss Aaron Rodgers coming back to the Packers and if Green Bay is still the favorite in the NFC heading into next season. After that, Tony G segues from a team to beat in the NFC, to the AFC to make a prediction about the Broncos. Listen to the episode to hear where TG has them slated to finish in their division of the AFC West come next January. To conclude the show, Tony G and Will talk about Calvin Ridley's 17 game suspension for gambling and compare it to the other suspension penalities the NFL has handed out over the years. Updated.

That is followed by a conversation praising the Badgers Basketball team after their Big Ten Championship on Tuesday, knocking off Purdue for the 2nd time this season.
Tony G brings an opinionated attitude to today's show to discuss Kyler Murray asking for a raise from Arizona before his rookie deal is over. Tony discusses why he thinks Murray asking for a new contract is premature to the relationship between Murray and the Cardinals. Then, Tony blasts Derek Jeter for stepping away from the CEO position with the Marlins. Tony and Will also make predictions on the future of Derek Jeter following his departure from Miami. Dan Lukes has been a part of the St. Norbert College athletic department for nearly 25 years and has seen it all from national championship hockey teams to bitter cold baseball games for the Green Knights. Lukes is also in his 2nd stint as the De Pere Legion Baseball coach and talks about his 4 state championships with the program, with the most recent one in the summer of 2021. He sits down with Tony G to recount his start in his journalism career after graduating from UW-Oshkosh and his memories in sports working for SNC & De Pere Legion. Dan also talks about the athletic directors he has worked with and the common trait he sees in successful AD's.
The whole Michigan-Wisconsin scuffle has the sports world on fire which is why Tony G and Will get together to discuss how the entire thing is Juwan Howard's fault and what reverberations are to follow for the Michigan program without Howard for the rest of the regular season. Tony G also proposes how to make the NBA Dunk Contest must-watch TV again with a new proposed format after the snooze-fest on Saturday. The show concludes with Tony G breaking down his new favorite racer replacing Matt DiBenedetto following the Daytona 500.
Will McCormick returns to the podcast after his business absence from Tuesday's show to talk with Tony G about Aaron Rodgers winning his 4th MVP award by comparing his season to Tom Brady's. That debate is followed up by a discussion about Cooper Kupp's candidacy for the MVP. In his third season at the helm of the SNC Women's Hockey team, AJ Aitken has begun to grow a winning culture for the program. In this interview, Coach Aitken recounts his beginnings in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, as well as the memories from his playing days, including an MVP of the AJHL in 1996. Then, he transitions to discuss his coaching experiences and philosophies, and how that cultivates his ideal program atmosphere. For the first time in the history of The Tony G Show Interviews, a guest has returned for a second episode on the podcast. Michael Payant is a humble member of the St. Norbert College Men's Basketball Team and was on the show to conclude season 4, in March of 2020.
Today Mike comes on the show to discuss how he has grown as a basketball player in his time with the Green Knights. He also takes a look back at his favorite memories and what he will take with him when he graduates this coming May. Mike also describes himself as a captain of the team and what his message is to the younger players on the squad. In "60 Seconds with Michael Payant" the SNC athlete tells you which marvel movie or series is the best, as well as his favorite fish to catch.

Patrick "Paddy" Danen is now a non-player member of the SNC Basketball team, who is transitioning to the baseball team to become a pitcher for the Green Knights. Patrick is also a 2-time Gold Medalist with the USA Deaf Basketball Team whose selfless personality resonates with many members of the Saint Norbert College Community. Paddy has been through a lot in this life, which he discusses at length in this interview, of being deaf in both ears after a meningitis diagnosis at just 6 months old, as well as atrial fibrillation, which has cut into his basketball career. Nonetheless, Danen utilizes an outgoing personality, as well as a positive outlook in life to inspire those around him.
In this finale of season 7, Tony G and Will do one final QB Spotlight on the famed Aaron Rodgers in the middle of this crazy 2021 season campaign he is in. Tony G is employed with the local sports-talk radio station, The Fan WDUZ, and was given the opportunity to sit in for the local show, Better Call Eversoll with Marques Eversoll. Marques took the back-end of Thanksgiving week off, thus giving Tony G the chance to host on Black Friday, 2021.
In this show, Tony G keeps it local by previewing Rams vs. Packers before the bye week for Green Bay, and Wisconsin football vs. Minnesota for Paul Bunyon's Axe, as well as reviewing the performance of the basketball team for Wisconsin after winning the Maui Invitational. However, he also expands the horizons of the show and talks about NFL Thanksgiving football, which includes putting the Bears and Cowboys on blast.

Jason discusses the ticking clock on the steroid era players on the ballot like Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa. In the 2nd and final interview of the November Series, The Tony G Show welcomes SNC Women's Basketball player, Olivia DeCleene on the show to discuss her career, as she is the "super-senior" who has returned with her year of eligibility following COVID. She discusses the high hopes of the team as the season gets underway and what it is like for her to return without some of her old teammates on the squad. She also talks about her faith and religion as an athlete, as well as her style of play on the court. Olivia spends time comparing the two coaches she has had as a Green knight between the legendary Connie Tilley and Amanda Leonhard-Perry, who is now in her 2nd season in De Pere.

The November series of interviews for The Tony G Show kicks off with the widely respected men's basketball coach for Saint Norbert College. As he is set to begin his 15th season with the Green Knights, he sits with Tony G and Will to talk all things basketball. He talks about the recent road trips to UWGB and Notre Dame for the exhibition games of the team and how he manages to set up those games.
Coach Grzesk also discusses his relationship with UWGB, as he is a graduate of the team and his memories from his 4-straight DPOY awards within the Phoenix program. Gary has 2 kids, both of which are around college student age, and one of them, Garrett is a freshman on the team that Gary coaches.
