God's work in the life of this ancient Moabite widow reminds us that he can bring about beauty through out own pain and sorrows.
Ruth and Esther will teach us that even when God seems hidden or distant, his sovereign hand is silently moving behind the curtain of our suffering to accomplish his redemptive purposes. The end result of his redemption is our satisfaction and salvation.

Matthew 8:28-34
Matthew shows us that Jesus is the Son of God, the victor over darkness, and yet because of sin, people do not treasure him as they should.

Jesus proclaims that a flourishing life with God in the Kingdom is one that is real.
