Feel like home
Feel like home in uncertainty. Feel like home, when home is not a pin-point on a map. Feel like home when you move periodically. Feel like home when you know no one. Feel like home when you have no idea where is your home. Feel like home, because "Home is not a place, it's a feeling " (Cecilia Ahern). We might not change our lifestyle, but we can find ways to feel like home everywhere.
Iuliana is one of those people who will spread optimism, will see the good part of anything and will encourage you to follow your dreams. She spent 2 years in France and backapcked for 6 months around South America. She needs love to feel like home, she always has hope that everything will have a happy ending, she learnt how important it is to have respect for the culture that you discover. She openly talked about her struggles when she settled down again in Romania (for a while) and how difficult it is when your heart is in a place and your body in another.
Alex left Argentina at 25 years old, but he did not plan to become a digital nomad. Nowadays he would not change this lifestyle, because of the freedom that he discovered along the way. He did not find his home yet and there are only two things for which he would settle-down. We discussed about his beginnings in the remote working, his secrets of selling his services and his reasons for travelling to a specific location.
Juky is one of those people who embraced the unknown long before people talked so much about this lifestyle. She started her journey from South Korea, 10 years ago, and we shortly understood that, for her, home is about people. She feels like home in the place where she found those ones with whom she gathered great memories and build a special connection, but she accepted that home is not necessary the place where you grew up. Juky told us what she learnt along the way and what challenges she had, how society can put pressure on you and she learnt to say goodbye.
