He clarified the difference between training vs certifying oneself, as well as why you should certify yourself.

oday we sit and wrap-talk with Tobias from FolienFactory.
Tobias is such a cool guy to talk with. He went from being a mechanic that loved disarming cars , into a car wrapper that loves to disarm and tweak wrap processes, so that he can understand them better, improve and deliver a better result to the customer.
We also talked about his own shop setup and the importance of being a part of GEWA, German General-Wrapping-Association.

Michella is a person with many talents, who got into the wrapping business by chance and fell in love with it like so many of us.

Today we sit and wrap talk with Robert Lambie, he is a man with so many roles, that it gets hard to say what his main focus is. Amongst some of them is the owner of Fast Signs Ltd, the creator of the UKSIGNBOARDS.com, the president of ISA UK, a wrap trainer, and much more.
If I had to choose I’d say he is a man with vast knowledge, that isn’t afraid to share it and speak his mind.
We got through a bunch of topics, amongst them what car manufacturers have been up to for years and which most of us don’t have a clue about.
We really only managed to touch the surface of a lot of different topics, so we will most definitely be having a second session.

We started off by talking about how an idea in John's mind became a reality and how it's impacting the wrapping business.
We then pivoted to talking about a bunch of different things, like educating the wrapping world, and also about conventions and how to get the most out of them.

I had the pleasure of meeting Carlos for the firs time when I was visiting MetroWrapz a couple of month back . On that trip I got to see first hand how he works, leads his team, talks to customers and the pride that he takes on what they create and put out there.
I just wanted to sit down and chat a bit more about his story, get him to open up on what hard work is and what it has meant for him.
But also to get him to talk about what passion for the product, customer and business looks like. We even managed to talk a little bit about Flamenco dancing, which was a positive surprise!

A couple of episodes ago we hade a gentleman by the name of Austin Smith.
Austin shared with us very openly his view of the industry, stories and where he is heading with all his ventures.
It was a great episode, but I felt that we missed a very important part of it all.

Jonas Sjöström, from JBS Dekor, is the former World Wrap Master champ of 2017.
There is lots of good knowledge in this episode, specially if you are thinking of competing!
He shares with us how competing was for him, what he felt at the beginning, during the competition, but also what it has meant for his career.
He is the sign maker that ended up becoming a tool maker out of simple necessity, when he one day created a tool that would put him on a path he himself couldn’t have predicted.
His and the companies fame and fortune expanded from there on, into what it is today, a tool supplier with more than 500 different tools with a super neat production facility and a well working LEAN system.
His name is Michael Althoff and he is the man behind YelloTools!
