Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O'Connell were suffering the State of Origin hangover, but vehemently denied rumours they started drinking the day before the milestone 100th episode of the Cheap Seats Podcast.

To commemorate said milestone and call stumps on five wonderful years ranting from the cheap seats, the boys went back to the old favourite, #AskTheCheapSeats!

Thanks to everyone who got in touch via Twitter @CheapSeatsPod, and using the old standard, #AskTheCheapSeats, left somewhere in the order of 40 questions to tackle. So strap yourself in, this might be the longest Cheap Seats yet!

Stay Cheap! And don’t forget, you still can hear the entire podcast collection on Soundcloud, iTunes, and the TuneIn radio app.

Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O'Connell are both under overly dramatic, but expertly scheduled injury clouds going into the State of Origin decider.

With the 2017 Series on the line, the boys have managed to tackle some curly Origin questions to preview Game 3, put an expected end date on the cricket pay dispute, and agains ponder the state of Australian rugby.

  1. Of all the injury clouds floating around both camps this week, how many of have we actually taken notice of??
  2. Why will NSW win?
  3. Why will Qld win?
  4. What will break the cricket pay dispute??
  5. Australian rugby right now. Discuss.

And the boys now want your help – with Episode 99 now under their belt, Brett and Ryan have committed to return next week for the Episode 100 #AskTheCheapSeats Special!

So if there’s a curly question you want the boys to tackle, get in touch via Twitter @CheapSeatsPod, and use the old favourite, #AskTheCheapSeats.

Is there any truth in the rumour that this is the milestone to go out on?

Stay Cheap! And don’t forget, you can hear the podcast on Soundcloud, iTunes, and the TuneIn radio app.

And do hang around for the bloopers!

Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O'Connell have made good on their promise to return before State of Origin 2. Just.

Heading into the possible, yet strangely quiet decider, the boys have managed to tackle some curly Origin questions to preview Game 2, ponder the plight of the Wallabies, and bid an underwhelming farewell to the Champions Trophy cricket tournament.

Also, don’t miss Ryan’s free child-minding tips for Game 2!

  1. NSW are 1-0 up, going into Game 2 in Sydney. Why does this still feel like a toss-of-the-coin prediction??
  2. Why will NSW win?
  3. Why will Qld win?
  4. Have the Wallabies hit rock bottom yet??
  5. Will anyone miss the Champions Trophy, likely to be replaced by a 20-team WT20?

As always, if there’s a curly question you want the boys to tackle, get in touch via Twitter @CheapSeatsPod, and use the old favourite, #AskTheCheapSeats.

As always, you can hear the podcast on Soundcloud, iTunes, and the TuneIn radio app.

Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O'Connell have been out of the Cheap Seats studio so long, they had to reset all their passwords. True story.

But it’s State of Origin time, and the boys have managed to get back in the game to tackle some curly Origin questions, plus a bit of Super Rugby and Champions Trophy cricket to boot:

  1. Is this the most open Origin series we've seen in the last ten years?
  2. Why will NSW win?
  3. Why will Qld win?
  4. Who will run down the Brumbies in the Australian Super Rugby conference?
  5. If the ICC holds an international tournament and no-one sees, was a ball bowled at all? If there’s a curly question you want the boys to tackle, get in touch via Twitter @CheapSeatsPod, and use the old favourite, #AskTheCheapSeats.

As always, you can hear the podcast on Soundcloud, iTunes, and the TuneIn radio app.

And stay cheap!
