Today we have the opportunity to speak with full-time attorney Chris Pomerleau. Outside of his day job Chris is a husband, father of two children, and a real estate go-getter. Chris began investing in single family homes in 2013 but soon noticed he could go faster if he partnered with others. He transitioned into buying smaller multifamily rentals before eventually moving into larger apartments. He talks to today about how having great time management skills has allowed him to make it all happen. Today we have an incredible show with Jack Bosch. Jack is an immigrant from Germany who came to the US in 1997 with two suitcases and a bunch of student debt. He found himself a good job but soon realized it wasn’t his dream and he began to look for an alternative. That’s when he stumbled into real estate investing and into land flipping. Jack’s first year he did 63 deals while still working full time. He was able to pay off all his student loans, consumer debts, and saved a year’s worth of living expenses. Today we chat with Joseph Gozlan based out of Plano, TX. Joseph is a former IT professional who has turned full time investor. He got his start with single family rentals and kept working hard to save and pick them up one at a time. He did this for many years until he realized he could only go so far with SFHs and to scale his business he would have to look at larger properties. That’s when he made the decision to get into multifamily investing. Today he talks about how he made the transition to commercial deals and how this eventually lead him to leave his IT job and become a full time investor.
Today we speak with Powell Chee based out of Redondo Beach, CA. Powell is a Sales Executive who got started with out of state turn key rentals and then decided to move into larger multifamily properties. Powell shifted markets and quickly built relationships with brokers which led him to eventually landing his first 40 unit property. From there he moved on to a 60 unit where he raised outside capital. Powell did all this while still working full time and tells you how you can do the same!
Today we chat with Danny Randazzo based out of Charleston SC. Danny is a Financial Consultant as well as a successful commercial real estate investor. He discusses why he got into real estate investing and how he was making plans to do so since high school! Danny shares his journey from house hacking to buying a $1M commercial office building and touches on his current focus of multifamily value add properties. In our last episode of 2018 we speak with Brent Kawakami. Brent is a full time engineer who is based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Brent started small with single family homes and was soon successful. However, he was managing these properties himself and soon wanted to move into larger multifamily properties because he saw the potential to make more money with less headache. Brent quickly educated himself, became a passive investor and then finally closed on his own deal with the help of some key partners.
