The Recovery Course is a Christ based course helping people get freedom from the grip of addictions.
Emma Heath interviews Ian McDowell from Tough Talk. Louise Hansford also shares her testimony and her journey of recovery from cocaine and heroin addiction.
The Recovery Course is open to anyone struggling with any sort of addiction or any compulsive behaviour, including drugs, alcohol, pornography, sex, gambling and self-harming. The Recovery Course is a good starter for those completely new to recovery as well as those who have been in recovery for years, but who would like to take a fresh look at the steps from a Christian perspective.

Tough Talk Testimony Tuesday with guest Emma Heath
Tough Talk is a registered charity dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in an informal way that appeals to people who would not normally go to a church meeting. Tough Talk is made up of a group of men with backgrounds of ex-bouncers, ex-football hooligans and ex-East End hard men who have turned their backs on their past. Many of the team are very keen powerlifters. All the team feel that having let God into their lives, they now have an urgent need to share their experiences with the hope of helping others. They have found that the message of hope in Jesus Christ reaches people from all backgrounds and age groups.

The Recovery Course Conference is for anyone already running a course in their church, or thinking of running one. It is a gathering of people who feel called to reach those struggling with addictions of all kinds.
The conference is run by RecoveryTwo, a Christian charity established to reach those suffering from the effects of addiction. Anyone who feels called to a ministry of setting captives free, reaching out into community and winning souls for Christ, is encouraged to attend.
Featuring worship, testimony, teaching, seminars.....a call to arms for those thinking of getting involved and a time of encouragement for those already running courses.
