Equally impressive, were one hundred and twenty (120) young people, who are in correctional facilities, registered as full-time candidates for the 2021 NSC examinations. One hundred and eleven (111) of these candidates, wrote the 2021 NSC exams. Fifty nine (59) of the full-time candidates, obtained Bachelor passes; twenty nine (29) obtained Diploma passes; and eleven (11) obtained Higher Certificate passes ~ Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga

We are the first to conceded that, whilst from 2015 to date, greater equity and redress have been systematically addressed, inequalities still remain in the system. South African’s woke up on the day of goodwill (26th Dec) to the news of the passing of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Mpilo Tutu.
In recognition of the late Archbishop Emeritus’ distinguished life and invaluable contribution to the nation, President Ramaphosa has designated the late leader’s funeral as a Special Official Funeral – Category 1.
The Special Official Funeral will take place in St George’s Cathedral, Cape Town, on New Year’s Day, Saturday, 1 January 2022.
Radio 2000 will be carrying this Special Officially Funeral live, from around 10am.
