Glimpse: Recent Episodes

Scott Linnertz

Like a modern-day mixtape, Glimpse is a project that will allow me to share with you how I hear life and the world.

Compilations reflecting what a certain bottle of wine would sound like; music for a mood, feeling, season - A soundtrack for life through my ears.

It's a very, VERY odd thing to have always known the Holiday season to be cold, chilly, usually wet and on occasion snowy, and now to have it be the complete opposite - going to the beach, summer kicking into full gear - very odd indeed. But, a very large portion of the world has known nothing but this kind of climate, Christmas has always been a summer holiday.

I find myself very nostalgic in this new environment, even a little melancholy. This compilation reflects those feelings of my first Holidays away from home, and a longing to be back in front of the fire and the tree, surrounded by family.

With Christmas staples, jazzy remixes of old favorites and some modern tunes, here is a glimpse into the Holidays through my ears.
