Pastor Barbara Green has a heart for the people and a shoulder for the Faith workers. Growing up in Panther Burn, Mississippi, Pastor Green understands what it means to live in poverty. Her work in ministry as charged by God is to help his people. Those that have fallen on hard times and just need a hand up, but then there are the Faith leaders who have been charged just like her to uplift the people who are struggling. Pastor Barbara get those calls that no one else knows about, because these Faith leaders have to be strong for the ones that they are leading, but they themselves are bleeding in the dark. That is why Pastor Barbara has named her new podcast Bleeding In The Dark to support all of the other Faith leaders who are struggling . With a new vision and a new platform that God has given to Pastor Barbara, she hopes to support , and encourage the leaders who are leading in the spotlight by day and Bleeding In The Dark at night.
Hello Everyone,
I am Pastor Barbara Green and I am the host of Bleeding in the Dark Podcast.
In this episode I will like to share with you how Bleeding in the Dark was launched. As I previous shared with you even as a child God gave me a heart of compassion for the broken, for the people who were hurting as well as for the people who was hopeless.
So now that I am an adult, I am having critical conversations which leaders who are broken as well as hurting.
I realize that some leaders are afraid to let someone else know that they are in need, they doesn’t want anyone to know that they are hurting, that they are wounded, that they are broken because of their position as a leader.
Perhaps someone maybe saying who can I talk to physically when I am going through, who can I talk to when I am broken, who can I talk to when I am bleeding in the dark. We definetly can go to Our Heavenly Father, but who can I talk to physically here on earth.
The Leaders spent their lives pouring into everyone elses lives, building those up who are torn down, praying for those who are broken and discouraged. My question today is Who minister to the Minister. Who is standing in the gap for the Leaders as they are bleeding in the dark.
This is the reason why bleeding in the dark was launched because of what the Leaders deal with on a daily basis. The Leaders need someone they can trust and be transparent to about what they are going through. But leaders in the meantime , trust God even in your pain, trust God even when you are weary, trust God when it seems as though there is no way out, trust God when you are sick in you body, trust God when the finances are low. I want to encourage the leaders to pray, to trust God and know that God is able to do anything but fail.
In the next episode I will share some practical steps. But before I go to the next episode you can reach me at www.Bleedinginthe Dark.org

I am the wife of Louis Green and we are celebrating 32 years of marriage.
I am the mother of three sons, but have acquired and mentor as well as nuture so many other children.
God has blessed me with more than 20 years of Ministry, training and experience.
I travels from Georgia to Miss. to be an advocating for the community. I serve by advocating for the community by pushing for better jobs, housing, and education.
I am a mentor to many women, men, and children. I am involved in community outreach in different states. Some of the community outreach projects I am serving in are clothing closet, food pantry, toy drive and I have collaborated with an organization to make sure the children had a safe place to play in my hometown of Panther Burn, Miss. by building their first playground. It was such an exciting moment for the community and the children to have their first playground. God has blessed for over 10 years to take a caravan of leaders, Clergy, community leaders from different states to help serve the people in Mississippi.
I am originally from a small town in the rural area of Miss. You may not have ever heard of it but the name of the town is Panther Burn, Miss.
I remember coming up as a child , and people would ask me to help them with this or with that. I didn’t have a problem at all with helping them, because I really enjoyed helping people even in my childhood.
I realize now, even as a child God gave me a heart of compassion to help, to listen, and encourage those who were going through difficult times.
I never thought anything about it, but I knew in my heart that I wanted to help someone.
I never thought I would be here on this platform today. But God knew and I am so excited to share in the next episode about how bleeding in the dark was launched.
