It's been 10 years since I lost my beautiful Mum which is almost unbelievable. She is still so very alive in many ways for me and all around me every day.
I wanted to share a little more about the amazing lady she was with you all, and I hope that this 25 min tea break will inspire you a little and make all of us feel that even when our loss is devastating, the memories are the celebration of knowing and loving that person.

Jeremy was born and educated in the UK, but has spent most of his life travelling the world. In a career spanning more than 35 years, he has lived and worked in eight different countries (including Egypt, India and China), for six different organisations.
He spent 18 years with German multinational Henkel, serving most recently as the President of Henkel Greater China. His contribution to the local economy and to international cooperation were recognised in 2019 by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, which awarded him a Silver Magnolia Medal.
He is the author of “Why Did Nobody Tell Me? How To Be Happy And Successful In Life (And At Work)”
Jeremy now runs his own consultancy, Jeremy Hunter Consulting. He acts as a mentor to young professionals, as well as providing business support to SME’s requiring specialist turnaround advice and assistance.

I am joined by Andy Neilson to chat about the buyer’s journey - quite literally.
Andy has been involved in procurement for much of his career - from the world of the potteries working with brands such as Royal Worcester, Denby and Spode to Halfords, Fitness First, and he held a global position at Clarks as Group Head/Vice President of Procurement Supply Chain & Logistics.
There isn’t much Andy doesn’t know about procurement.
So the sales woman meets the buyer!
But this wasn’t a showdown and the normal battle we have been used to all of these years. This was a human conversation about how buyer’s can actually teach sales people a huge amount about building relationships.

It's not often you get to have a conversation with a world record holder, but there is a whole lot more to Kevin Gaskell that makes him a truly inspirational person.
As CEO of successful world class brands - Porsche, Lamborghini, and BMW , and as a serial entrepreneur who has built international companies from ‘a good idea’, Kevin has created over £3 billion in shareholder value – and yet has still found time to climb the world’s highest mountains, walk to both North and South Poles, compete in international sport and play in a rock band - and did I mention his world record from rowing across the Atlantic.
On this epic achievement he said, “We have crossed the ocean and we all came out of it still friends. That was our main aim. I am very privileged to have been part of that. I feel incredibly fortunate”.
Kevin and his Atlantic rowing team are now World Record holders for the fastest row across the Atlantic in a 5 man boat. The epic journey, which took 35 days 19 hours and 50 minutes, raised more than £100k for the Plastic Soup Foundation, a charity that fights against the build up of plastics in oceans.
In this podcast we get to know more about the experiences he has had and he leaves us in no doubt that if we 'Dare to dream' we can do anything. As he says ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

His album is called 'Carrot Shaped Stick' and is about aspiration, disconnection, desperation, love and resurrection. The metaphor for the use of a combination of reward and punishment to induce a desired behaviour.
Loz wrote, sang and produced the whole album and 50% of the royalties he earns from sales of the album will go to MIND, the mental health charity.

When she was 16 she moved to the UK - as she says 'kicking and screaming' and started a journey of learning a new language, studying and building herself a professional career. Quite something when you are in a very strange environment from what you're used to.

In this episode I am delighted to have my son Sam with me as my special guest.

Absolutely honoured to have Rob Law MBE on my podcast this week, the inventor of Trunki.

I loved my conversation with Donna Elliott, the co-founder of 'Now is your time'. She has started this movement to create space for entrepreneurs to understand that balance is the key. She has a wonderful holistic view of success and happiness which looks at core areas of our everyday lives.
