My son & I wanted to create a space for parents and children to share. Being a parent & parents is hard, yet being a child is too. So this introduction gives a sneak peek of what’s coming.
It’s important to start reading early also; it’s important to keep up with it. Make it fun and exciting plus of course let’s always give our child and or children our full attention. It’s a bonding moment plus learning moments. Thank you for listening!
We speak about why cooking together is important. At a young age I feel you should bring children in the kitchen. Start off giving them small jobs while cooking that then in to big jobs. It’s a great bonding experience and plus you’ll have lots of fun!
Friendships we should cherish the ones that are there wholeheartedly for us as we are for them. Friends turn into family and that’s when it becomes very very real. I teaching our children early on the importance of respecting themselves first then those around them. We have to start these conversations early plus; we have to lead by example!
This episode didn’t go the exact route it was supposed, yet we kept right with the show! We truly enjoy doing these together so, it’s always fun to hear how it comes out since we absolutely go with the flow. Bonding moments are the absolute best!
This episode we kind of went a few routes and I’m glad we did. We also did a IG live and answered questions! Always remember there’s no such thing as failed, there is a such thing as different routes to get where you wanted to get. Just don’t give up.
We speak about the importance of celebrating your child and or children’s achievements. The smallest ones is the biggest for them... even if we don’t think so. Remind them they’re doing a great job also; doing a mini celebration is fun too! We’re always hard on our children so, let’s not forget to celebrate achievements, acknowledge them and remember it’s truly is a big deal!
This episode: Quickly touches on points of why it’s not ok for children under a certain age not to play violent video games. Thank you for your time.
Children do racially bullying other children. It’s sad and it happens more than we want to speak about. What happens when your child’s voice is unheard? What happens when bullying goes to far? What happens when we’re truly held accountable for our children’s actions? Let us raise and teach our child/children better. Thank you for your time.
Even at a young age, speaking to our child and or children about their purpose is a good thing. What are their talents? What have you noticed about your child? Do you see what their purpose could be? Do you help them walk in their purpose? Let’s make this a thing, hear/listen to them and yourself. Your purpose is important too!
Something that we all should speak about especially with our child and or children. It’s a very important dialogue to always have also; keep open for many reasons. Thank you for your support!
It was going to be just two questions, yet it turned into a few more. Keep in mind my son is 11yrs old so, bare with him and responses. None of this was prepared, we went straight from the heart and believe me... You’ll enjoy every second of this!
We are never alone even though at times we, feel like we are... we’re not. In this talk you’ll hear a little of what it’s like doing things together, yet apart while being married also; handling doctor appointments or even just finding time to just cry. Remember it’s okay to say I’m hurting or I need help. Being strong all the time makes us numb, be okay to not be... okay.
Never knowing what my son feels like being just raised by me so, we did it. No questions written down at all. These are on the spot questions and he came with some great ones too. Never underestimate the mind of a child and or children. Solely raising them it’s good hearing how they feel mainly him being... Our young men really need that positive male guidance.
My son & I wanted to share our struggles, our happiness and all in between. So we’ve created a space just for that. Keep in mind we aren’t licensed professionals, we’ll be just sharing from experiences to help in any way we can. So, welcome and we’re glad you’ll be joining us!
