Guys today often have no definition of "manhood" or an improper definition of "manhood" which is why I give my principles for the betterment of himself and those around him. As a profession I work as a social worker and all the views I express on my channel are mine alone.

In this podcast I talk about how men are not able to truly be "victims" in society nor are we able to "play the victim" as other's can. Nobody feels sorry for us as men and this is not something we should seek in the first place however, it is a reality we must face. I encourage men to seek help if need be as there are agencies both private and governmental that provide services that may be off assistance.

Men that are strong still have feelings and emotions just like everybody else does. Although I always encourage men to have strength and embrace their role as the protector we all have our moments even the strongest most "alpha" among us. Self-care is a necessity for a man and there is no shame in seeking counseling if need be.

A man must require a level of respect by all the people he interacts with on a regular basis. This is a necessity when it comes to dating and even outside of the dating world. A man MUST demand respect and those that do not will suffer the consequences of constant mistreatment. Without a baseline level of respect a man cannot properly fulfill his role as the leader and protector.

A man should strive to be honest and truthful with himself and others as he traverses through life. Honesty is a necessity when it comes to earning trust and respect for your leadership as a MAN. Are men (especially in western society) too weak when it comes to dealing with women? Society for the last few decades has increasingly encouraged men to embrace weakness especially within the context of dating, family and relationships. Weakness in a man is particularly unattractive and not respectable in the eyes of women (contrary to current societal norms). A society full of weak protectors (men) is not beneficial to anyone so we must strive to reserve this trend as much as possible.

A man without standards for himself and the women he deals with is in serious trouble. This is a critical part of having a good relationship (yes they are possible) or dating life in general. Men collectively have lowered their standards as far as expectations in the dating world and this must be reversed if we are to have any fulfillment out of relationships.

In this episode I label a particular type of man which I not so affectionately refer to as the, "Mama's Boy Pit Bull". Although he may have good intentions his misguided efforts are counterproductive and not becoming of a man. The mama's boy pit bull does not act as a true protector as he does not "lead" he is merely an attack dog. In this episode I provide reasons why men should "wear the pants" in their relationships with women. This common phrase simply mean's that a man should be in the leadership position of the relationship. It is my belief that all men that choose to have relationships with women should be the leader within that relationship primarily due to the fact that by default the man is always designated as the protector. Regardless of what other people say in any emergency situation where men, women and children are involved the expectation to "do something about it" will always fall most heavily on the man. And furthermore a protector cannot effectively "protect" unless he is also leading.
