My Boy Elroy is the Chicago-based DJ/Beat-Boxer of the world famous Acid Jazz pioneering group & Grammy nominated live act, Liquid Soul. He is also known as the DJ and producer of Digital Tape Machine's first album entitled "Be Here Now" released in May of 2013 as well as their four track EP "Omens" released April 23rd of 2014 featuring Kris Myers and Joel Cummins of Umphrey's McGee. His passion & dedication to his craft along with his unique presentation quickly led him to open for a sold out show @ the Riviera for the one & only Massive Attack. He's shared the bill with legendary greats of our times such as B.B. King & Stevie Wonder and pioneers of electronic music such as FKJ, Bonobo, Beardyman, Paul Johnson, Kerri Chandler, Marques Wyatt, Mark Farina, and playing such festivals as North Coast, Electric Forest, Taste of Randolph and many more! His DJ styles are a combination of buttery and emotional mixes and productions of Deep and Funky House, Nu Disco, Tech House, and Instrumental Hip-Hop with beat box and scratching spicing it all up bringing you a completely original sound of DJing and musical performance. With a vast catalog of smooth and eclectic mixes My Boy Elroy has a great deal of his life dedicated to producing original music with releases on Apulia Records, Bulletdodge, Slur, Elevate Tracks, JQM Records, Sea of Sand, and Friction Free. Also since 2005 My Boy Elroy has been the Music Director, Creative Director, and DJ for Chicago's amazing high-flying gravity-defying Midnight Circus being the first American circus troupe to get welcomed to perform their show at the world renowned MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CIRQUE in 2014.
