Hello everyone! My name is Nidhi Gandhi and I am an undergraduate junior at Hofstra University. This is my very first podcast, and it's about social justice, particularly in terms of language. This episode explores education and English education in Pakistan juxtaposed with education in India in the 1960s-1970s from insight from my mother Varsha Gandhi. At the end, there are renditions of three Gujarati poems about oppression and identity--works by Sujata Bhatt, Kavi Kalapi, and Narsi Mehta. Follow #StorytellingAsResistance
