The Muslim Perspective is a podcast that uses series such as “The New Muslim Course”, “Contemporary Issues” and “Islam & Black History” to educate new and potential muslims about the religion of Islam. The podcast is hosted by Idrees Crawley, who is a convert to Islam.

In this episode our brother in Islam Idrees (a former Christian himself) discusses the actual word for god in Arabic, and how Allah can be found in the semitic languages. He points out where it can be found in the traditions of both Judaism and Christianity and whether or not the word was foreign to the prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) and the people of his time.
