LatinoAltROCK
LatinoAltROCK! is a Latino-American music experience in the form of a Radio Show, with content that spans borders, widens communities and provides an understanding of a world beyond geographical boundaries.
Increasingly, more of us now define our “neighborhoods” on the basis of shared interests, relationships, experiences, perspectives and alliances. We may identify more with people who enjoy and care about the same things, than we do with people who just happen to come from the same block, or even the same country.
Our goal with this show is to navigate the point of fusion between cultures, by leveraging and celebrating these shared enthusiasms and networks of interest. Content will consist primarily of music, plus some international sports (Soccer), and global news, plus current and local community events.
Programming leans towards the Multicultural/Latino and Millennial generations.
We’re excited to showcase the richness of the Hispanic perspective mixed with the local music scene, because Minnesota is where we live: In the middle of a diverse musical spectrum. That puts LatinoAltROCK! in a position to make connections and build relationships with and for Latino and non-Latino audiences alike.

A diverse collective of 8 women share their stories and perspectives through a variety of artistic disciplines - spoken word, song, dance, live painting and more, with contributions from other women artists via video and voiceover.
A 30 min talkback will follow each 1 hr 15 min show.

As actors, usually our task is to learn our lines and play our part but this show is different.
RRRiot: Race & Rape Culture is a show where 8 gifted women artists get to use their voices to tell THEIR OWN STORIES.
But it means nothing if YOU DON’T SHOW UP for them! Please give these women your time and attention for an hour and a half of multi-disciplinary performances that will make you LAUGH, CRY, EXHALE and maybe even change your LIFE. Performances include dance, spoken word, live painting, music, puppetry and more. Including artistic contributions via video, voiceover and pre-show installation.
