Parking Lot Thoughts: Recent Episodes

This is an announcement and brief section from a new book I am working on. It walks through what it will be and why I am writing it, along with why I think you should read it.
It seems every time I make one of these, I am saying sorry for having taken so long between posts. Well, here we go again, it's been months since my last update, but here is another update for you.
Failure is always going to be part of our identity as humans in a fallen world. Disappointment is always going to be an unfortunate part of humanity, and that is truly discouraging at times. But it does not have to be a defining characteristic of who we are. Failure is not what God sees when He gazes upon us, His children. And because of that, failure and disappointment should never be what we see first when we see ourselves, either. We are made clean and righteous in Christ, as His children, THAT is who we are. That is what God has always seen when He sees us, and that is how we should focus our eyes, as well.
Join me as I tell the story of my own past issues with feeling important and seeing the blessings around me.
