In addition to great Jewish music and Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser' Morning Chizuk, Mattes hosted Shlomo Zwickler of Beit Orot to discuss the latest news from Israel. Mattes also interviewed Zieva Konvissoer, author of Living Beyond Terrorism. They talked about how to get through these difficult times. Mattes's final guest was MK Rabbi Dov Lipman. They talked about his experience at the site of the Har Nof massacre the next day and what is now happening in Israel.
On this edition of JM Sunday, Mattes's first guest was Meir Kalmanson, whose online video, "High Five New York" has gone viral. He went around "hi-fiving" New Yorkers who were holding out their hands to hail a cab. Later in the show, Mattes was joined by Rabbi Gili Houpt. He will be at the Boathouse Cafe in Passaic NJ tonight at 7:30, for "An Evening with Reb Gili Houpt by the Lake." They talked about the event and what he's been up to lately. Finally, Robert Lichtman was on at 8:30 with an update on the Great Shofar Blowout taking place this morning in Whippany.
