It’s been said that around this time every year (February 2nd to be exact) we shift our attention to what’s called Groundhog Day...This tradition derives from the Pennsylvania Dutch superstition, that if a groundhog emerging from its burrow on this day, sees its shadow due to clear weather, it will go back to its den and we’ll have six more weeks of winter; but if the groundhog doesn't see his/her shadow...due of course to bad weather...like cloudiness...then spring will arrive early…
We pay a lot of attention to this superstition...It’s damn near a holiday or big enough to become one…
Here’s the question though...What predictions have you made for your life/this year or even the next month and a half? What is the Groundhog telling you about your plans? Will your plans see its shadow, and expect six more weeks of winter or longer? Or will your predictions see an early spring and come into fruition earlier?

- What kind of state are we in right now?
- We’re currently going through some tuff and crazy times right now…
- Covid-19 is spreading through the world rapidly with no sight of slowing down…
- The state of the world could easily be compared to the Influenza Epidemic of 1918-1920. Where the world saw an infection rate of 500 million people worldwide who fell sick... and it killed between 3-5% of the world’s population. This all took place within a 15 months time period.
- Just like today, they wore masks to prevent the disease from spreading...They also implemented washing inside their nose with soap and water...Diet and exercise were essential components to battling this pandemic…Although it didn't stop the transmission it definitely helped the body recover after being infected...
- We’re also going through the toughest economical time in the world’s history since the great depression…
- Local businesses being hit the hardest economically…
- The Working-class suffering the most due to loss of employment and wages…
- and leadership and the government playing politics with the American people’s lives…
- So while the country is in a dire state, what do we do?
- How do we survive?
- I would be remiss if I said I had the answers to these questions…
- I’m lost and still trying to wrap my head around what’s really going on…
- I’m still optimistic about our future as a country and civilization as a whole…
- A part of me honestly feels that our leaders have too much power and control…
- They took away the ability for us to earn a living…
- Took away simple liberties...such as choice, the truth, and transparency…
- All while playing with our future and our way of life…
- Again, I ask...What are we to do?
- Do the citizens of this nation have to overthrow the government to hold our elected officials accountable for making the right choices for us?
- Do we finally wake up and see the foolishness and see how the game of politics comes before the well being of our families?
- At this current state, do we even have a future to look forward too and what will that look like?
- I have always preached the gospel of entrepreneurship and controlling one’s own faith…
- But in these times, Is that even an option…
- It’s one thing to fight our way up the ladder of financial freedom for ourselves, our families, and for the people closest to us…
- But how can this still be a reality if we’re now being controlled and dependent on a government, the richest country in the world, and for months they can’t sign or agree on a bill to come to the aid of its citizens…
- Wake up America, we are so busy fighting each other...That all of us are losing: Losing the war on Covid and slowly but surely losing our freedoms...
- The middle class is being wiped out right in front of our eyes…
- Again, I’ll be remiss...If I didn’t mention the wide gap between the rich and the poor that’s been widening for years, right under our nose…
- 7.9% which equals 12.6 Million Americans is on unemployment as of September 2020…
- More than half of the population have less than $5000 in savings...Which most was depleted do to Covid...
- Nearly 100,000 small businesses have closed their doors…
- Although 4.2 million businesses have received emergency loans from the Small Business Administration, it’s a fraction of the 30 million small firms in the nation…
- Then of course we have 30-40 million Americans facing evictions, with an aver

Mindfulness could be a game-changer. It allows us to take a moment-by-moment level of awareness, just being in the now. Removing concerns about the past and the future. It takes us to a place of contentment, right where we are.
A place of just being enough and having enough. It reminds us that we should love everything and everyone around us unconditionally. That we are accepting, compassionate, and kind. Mindfulness is you, right here, right now, hearing these words and accepting them with love and without judgment.
I encourage you to raise your awareness today, pay attention to everything in the present moment but in a new, kind, and loving way.

Definitions:
destination: the place to which someone or something is going or being sent...
Journey: an act of traveling from one place to another…
- Now your destination/destinations can be confused with your journey quite easily…
- Our destination is solely where we are going and where we will end up...you know, where we plan to be…
- Our journey however is the act/activities within getting to that place or where we going to be or end up…
We quite often get wrapped up in the destination so much so that we miss the activities or should I say “we don’t enjoy the activities/the journey that takes us to our destinations…
They're both very important, but I urge you to smell the roses of the activities, the moves, and who you become thru the journey to your destination…
When our minds are set solely on the destination, it almost seems like a race...but coupled with the intent of enjoying the journey...we get to slow down and appreciate what's happening in the present/you know...we’re able to stop and smell the roses…
“Life is nothing but a journey”
Could you imagine living life just to get to the destination of dying...I’m in no hurry to reach the destination of death...I wanna enjoy my life, smell the roses of my life, and everything along the way…
It’s the journey that gives us the opportunity to reflect and appreciate what it took for us to have arrived at our destination…
You see, to every story, there are the beginning and the end...but the meat and bones of the story are what's between the pages…
The reason why it's so important to understand and appreciate the journey...is because along with the way to your destination, we need to stop, rest and give ourselves the credit for what we’ve accomplished so far…
This is vital to us reaching our destinations...because without it...it seems like a never-ending uphill climb to reach where we’re destined to be…

Is Your Time Valuable?
Definition:
Time: the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.
So what really is time and how should we view it and use it…
Time is the existence progress of events: it could be anything in the past, present, and the future…
What have we spent time on in regard to our past...What are we spending time on currently...and what do we plan on doing with our time in the future?…
Time could also be wasted or could it? I don’t really think time could be wasted... whether or not it’s being used wisely, could be the more important question…
Weather used constructively with definite continued progress or indefinite continued progress...it’s still being used…
So time; exists whether we are using it or it’s using us...because time is going to do what time does and theirs nothing we can do about it...The only say so we have concerning time, is to choose to use it constructively…
A real-life story about how I use and view time…
- Time is everything to me…
- I don’t play with time…
- I don’t take time for granted…
- I’m strategic about what I spend my time on…
- I’m aware of how fragile it is…
- I respect it…
- I’m Conscious about not knowing how much of it I do have in my time bank…
- I direct it to the things in my life that's the most important to me…
- I don’t squander it with unproductive activities…
Ask yourself these questions:
- What does time mean to you?
- Do you play with time?
- Do you take time for granted?
- Are you strategic and intentional on what you spend your time on?
- Are you aware of how fragile it is?
- Do you respect your time and the time of others?
- Have you thought about how much or lack thereof... you actually have stored in your time bank?
- Do you directly use time on the things that are most important to you in your life?
- What activities do you squander your time on…
- How could you use the time you’ve spent, present time and time if given...to progress further…

Reality: The world or state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or national idea…
“I often hear the Famous Motivational Speaker Les Brown Say: “Someone’s opinion of you, don’t have to be your reality” Here’s the argument when it relates to these two words and their meanings...I argue that someone’s opinion of you or how you should live your life or run your business is not your reality…
Now I want that to sink in...If someone’s opinion of me or what I’m doing doesn’t have any forbearance on what I conceive my reality to be...Then it shouldn't really matter...Right? Because the truth is: If other people’s opinion, which most likely comes in the form of their experiences and their reality...has such effect on our own reality...then pretty much they can control ours…or just as bad...we can have the same or similar experience or reality... I don’t like that type of feeling lol The fact that we allow other people’s opinions to set the tone at the least to what our reality is...scares the shit out of me….
Now by now, I know y'all know how I feel about control...I like to keep control or advise that the control stays in the eye of the controller...So what do I look like letting someone’s opinion, control my outcome...or whatever they think my outcome maybe… Now I some of you are saying: well we need other people’s opinions… Well, the truth of the matter is: we don’t!!! Can we use other's opinions...Yes and this is how I like to use it...I think you should too...Again...This in itself...what I’m saying is just an opinion...but this is how I like to use it…
I take opinions:
1. If it’s coming from someone that has what I want or is at a place in life, where I want to be...This person’s opinions or let's call it experience, is coming from a place of facts and not just a viewpoint...and even that I take with an over standing that, my experience, my reality could still be different…
2. If the opinion helps and furthers my goals and what I’m trying to achieve… If your opinion of what I’m doing or attempting to do is negative and takes away from my optimistic viewpoint on what I think is possible for me, then-No thank you!!! Your opinions have to be rooted in deep or in alliance with my goals and my dreams I have for myself...If it’s not, or in any way, form, or fashion, it conflicts with my natural feeling and inclination about what's possible for me and the process ODF me achieving it...(weather easy or hard) then, again...No Thank You!!! Here’s the takeaway: YOUR REALITY, YOUR EXPERIENCES...CAN ONLY BE MEASURED AND IS OF VALUE WHEN YOU CONTROL THE NARRATIVE...WHEN YOU SET UP WHAT YOUR REALITY WILL LOOK LIKE… LIKE LES BROWN SAYS: ‘OTHER’S OPINIONS OF YOU, DOESN'T HAVE TO BE YOUR REALITY”

Many Fashion designer’s works are a direct reflection of an era's culture. Some of your favorite brand names like Donatella, Gianni Versace, Alexander McQueen, Coco Chanel, Verbatum, and the likes, all give us the freedom to express ourselves through clothing and accessories. Stan Fraser and his brands are no different, his custom designs and approach to making his customers apart of the design process reflect not only an era’s culture but the individual experience.
Born August 11th, 1971, Stan Fraser first started dreaming up his tailored experience for the world as a teen. His mother being a seamstress and his uncle a tailor, Stan quickly unconsciously and subconsciously picked up the duo’s skills of constructing a garment from start to finish. While growing up in Brooklyn, NY, Stan began his journey as a fashion designer and entrepreneur at a very young age. As a high schooler, he would sketch garments that he could only dream of having. That later turned into a passion to make clothes so he could keep up with his counterparts who were fashionably way ahead of him. His attention to detail, drew him closer and closer to ultimately his own custom experience, what will later be extended to his customers and loyal followers’.
Throughout Stan’s 20 plus years as a fashion designer, he’s created numerous brands such as Nino Ross, Anarke Jeans, Verbatum , KustomKluth, and Carolina Denim, to name a few. He has also consulted brands such as Brooklyn Circus, Iname Brand, Revolution Clothiers, and Urban Reform. Over the years, Stan has continued to turn out season after season after season. Stan started from the humbling beginning of selling his designs and cloths out of his home in Brooklyn and then Charlotte, NC. The success he drew from this, allowed him to open his own customizable bespoke jeans store, right in the heart of Charlotte.
His popularity has launched collaborations with brands in Switzerland, Germany, Paris, and Singapore. Stan Fraser is the poster child of the American dream. Numerous publications have featured him in their pages, along with tv shows such as Hand Crafted America and Buzzfeed Video. His journey to success has come with a price but Stan is no stranger to challenges and setbacks. The mindset along with his craftsmanship has allowed Stan Fraser to weather the trials and tribulations that always coincide with success.
