We go over the idea of sex in the black community. In the black community there is a great deal of homophobia and toxic masculinity. We explore the roots of this toxicity and its relationship to slavery and the horrible practice of "buck breaking". We also talk with a few members about their experiences with coming out to their families and seeking acceptance and who and when they were able to feel comfortable with their own identities.
The black force attempts to have deep meaningful conversations about black life and culture. In this episode we introduce ourselves and try to answer some of the question around being black in America and how we have to on the daily deal with uncomfortable situations.
