A brief overview of the EHV outbreak in California in February 2022. Equine Herpesvirus-1 (EHV) is a very contagious virus and can cause fever and respiratory illness in horses. A variant of EHV-1 can also cause neurological disease. Check out he links below for a deeper understanding.

As riders, getting hurt is inevitable. Injuries not only leave physical scars, but scar our confidence too. Sometimes chronic pain or the fear of re-injury makes us reevaluate our riding.
