If Only I, We, They, It - If Only ... I have been very fortunate to have had a pretty good life up until a life-changing event, in 1991, when I was 41. This necessitated a complete change of life and a new way of thinking. This podcast is all about change, adapting, new directions, missed opportunities and self-improvement. This is not only learning new skills or indeed, improving and developing the ones that you already have - and it goes much deeper than that! Here, you will have the opportunity to improve or indeed, maintain your health, be that physical or mental.
Self Improvement – Pain may sometimes be the reason why people change. Getting bad grades makes us realize that we need to study. Debts remind us of our inability to look for a source of income. Being humiliated gives us the ‘push’ to speak up and fight for ourselves to save our face from the next embarrassment. It may be a bitter experience, a friend’s tragic story, a great movie, or an inspiring book that will help us get up and get just the right amount of motivation we need in order to improve ourselves.
With the countless negativity the world brings about, how can we keep motivated? Try on these tips I’ve prepared – from A to Z…
Being Fulfilled – Surviving, not thriving. Many of us experience long stretches of time when doing things seem empty and pointless. We are at a job for eight hours or more a day and then we come home feeling too tired to do much of anything. We sit and watch endless sitcoms and reality shows on TV or scroll through our social media feeds. The most excitement we have is a vacation once a year and possibly a holiday week at the end of the year.
Is that really living? It’s certainly not thriving!
When we reach this point, we have lost touch with the things that give our lives meaning – we are not fulfilled. The things that bring us joy and happiness and help us to feel good about the future.
Here are four simple changes you can do, right now, that will give you more meaning and fulfilment in your life ...
Time - It’s easy to get stuck in a rut. Many of us live the same day - day, after day, after day! We get up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch TV, and go to bed. The next day is a re-run. We all have other things we’d like to accomplish, but it seems that we run out of day before we have time to work on the more meaningful parts of life.
How much time do you spend on the most important aspects of your life – those activities that fulfil your life purpose? Has your life changed considerably in the last year? The last 10 years? At your current rate of progress, where will you end up 10 years from today?
Try these timesaving activities to free up part of your day for more important matters:
Did you know, that millions of people every month search Google for “how to make money online”?
All of these people are looking for extra ways they can make money online to supplement or even replace their income.
A lot of people may be like yourself are stuck in a dead-end job, stuck with a boss they hate, and barely make enough money at the month just to cover the bills. As an old friend of mine used to say (about his daughter): "She often has too much month left, at the end of her money!"
Life can be difficult enough in what is often considered ''normal times", where many people live paycheck to paycheck and don’t have any spare money to do the things they love in life. But in these current difficult [Pandemic] times, ''normal'' has gone out of the window with so many people having to be at home – some lucky enough to still have a job – though many now, have not! I think that the reality is going to be that life as we know has gone. Brick and mortar investment for companies to house their staff is dying and more and more, companies are seeing the benefits of outsourcing – including their workforce – to their own homes!
What kind of life is to live to work? Shouldn’t it be work to live?
The TRUTH is, that there are hundreds of ways to make extra money online.

It is common in self-help literature to hear that being more confident, believing in yourself, and regularly thinking positive thoughts can all help you to feel happier and luckier and, to even influence your life in a positive way.
But here’s another factor you might not have considered: brainpower. Did you know that mental focus, creativity, sharpness, and more can help to make you happier and even luckier?
Those who are more positive and happy tend to notice opportunities more because they are less stressed. But by the same token, you could notice even more opportunities by being more alert and switched on.
Likewise, effective use of Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) requires mental discipline which in turn needs energy and focus. The last section on health will deal with this to an extent but on top of this, you also need to ensure your brain is just loaded with energy and that it's functioning better. If you're groggy and easily distracted you won't be able to exert the necessary discipline to change those negative thoughts.
So, how do you boost your brain power - and even be happier and luckier?
Most people do not know what their true calling in life is. Some people just don’t care about this and are happy to be a drifter in life and just “go with the flow”. Others do care about it but have problems with identifying their real purpose in life. So here, today, I will show you 6 reasons why you absolutely must create a WHY statement.
