In a world where most men live without their biological fathers there is hope in Christ. I am a living witness.

As Christian men our goal is to grow into maturity. We are not to be childish, temper tantrum throwing, penis fondling, Mama's boys. We are men. We are husbands and fathers that need to put to death The Man-child mentality.
In a battle it is important not to get Data Overload. If you have to many options you will essentially have none. It is better to have a few tactics and execute them flawlessly. Than to have 1,000 different strategies and do them all poorly. In this war we have to keep it super simple.

As men we fight against a counterfeit reality. A reality of false pleasures, false relationships, false acceptance and false manhood. We must learn to Move, Attack and Defend.
The call to us as men is to fight. With glad submission to the King of Kings; we make war against the devil, flesh and the world. However like every soldier we must have basic training.
In a world of counterfeits. We as men have to be careful not to get sucked in the vortex of falsehoods. No matter how much it looks like the real thing; we must remember it is chocolate covered dog crap. Candy coated lies offered to us so that we will embrace them. We must as Christian men follow Jesus. That means embracing truth; no matter what our sweet tooth tells us.

For many men it is easy to say, "Jesus is Lord" with their lips. However their actions do not match up with their confession. They want headship but do not want to lead. They want sex without the task of pleasing their wife. They want obedient children as they themselves disobey God. They say Lord, Lord but do not do what Jesus tells them to do.

Jesus is Lord is not just a cute statement to put on a bumper sticker or something that you find on a t-shirt at the local Wally world. This statement holds implications and weight that will change your worldview if you let it. This is a political statement. This is a cultural statement. The fact that Jesus is Lord is what drives everything we do as Christians.
This is a command from a King to his soldiers to Go and Conquer. A command to colonize the world for the Kingdom of Light. Breaking the chains of darkness through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are to teach, preach, write songs, draw comics and whatever else you can do to push back to darkness. Conquering and going for the cause of Christ.

The Kingdom of darkness will not overtake the Church. No matter how much demons buck, scream and foam at the mouth the Kingdom of darkness has already lost. Our victory is in and through Jesus Christ. We Christians are not fighting for victory. We are fighting because we have to claim what is already ours.

What have you been struggling with most during the COVID-19 crisis? The world system will jam you up. The desire of satan is to keep Christians from standing for the truth in this evil age. As Christian men we need to have our foundation rooted to Christ.
The Word of the day is

the ability to judge well.
As men it is important to be able to decipher the truth from a lie. In this life we can be tricked and pulled into close counterfeits. Counterfeits about true religion. Counterfeits about true manhood. To truly be vigilant is to know the word of God and live in that truth.
As Men we are charged by God with the responsibility to protect, provide and be the spiritual leaders of our homes. This is a call to vigilance. We must be aware of the schemes of the enemy to do what God has called us to do.

The epidemic of being busy is killing our joy and keeping us from truly enjoy God. As Christian Men we need to fellowship with like minded men not only to grow spiritually but to live a full godly life.
