The Church of Jesus carries the Psalm 2 mandate to pray as joint heirs of Jesus Christ. As joint heirs, we can ask for nations on behalf of God.
Since all that we see will one day be purified with fire, the Apostle Peter calls us to live for eternal things. Placing all our identity and stock in earthly things disrupts our life, but seeking first God’s kingdom helps us be “at peace.”
Some will mock those who believe in the return of Christ. Our understanding is that it is God’s unwillingness to see any perish that delays His return.

It's easy to begin to walk in condemnation and un-forgiveness. In this world, it is so important to guard our hears and to protect our attitudes and stay in the place of receiving mercy and giving mercy.
No matter how complicated the season, the message remains the same. In Mark 11, Jesus keeps it simple, "Have faith in God." Every believer would do well to make that simple phrase his ofter-repeated slogan. Have faith in God!
Joshua suddenly found himself leading the nation of Israel into the Promised Land. God commanded him to be strong and courageous. David charged Goliath with a sling and five smooth stones. He was courageous because he knew the the battle was the Lord’s. God is calling us to be strong and courageous as our nation is being tested and tried. The Lord will once again back up those who overcome fear and face opposition with courage.
Life can be hard for people. There are plenty of naysayers, but there are a some who have become “ Sons and Daughters of Encouragement. When we encourage others, we do the Spirit’s work and release the heart of God to others. The end result will be people walking in their destiny, empowered by God.
We live in a culture increasing in anger and rage. The believer can’t walk in the same spirit and expect to be a light in the world. Pastor Jim shares how we can stay above the fray and walk in peace rather than anger, joy rather than rage.
Galatians 5:1 teaches us that our faith is all about freedom. Freedom should never be sacrificed. It's the heart of God for all humanity.
Nations, kings, presidents, governments, ideologies…they all have come and gone, but the Gospel has remained true from generation to generation. Now more than ever, any true seeker can see the timeless power and truth of the Gospel to transform hearts. Now more than ever, we can say that we are not ashamed to be identified with the greatest One who ever walked this earth, Jesus Christ Himself. We love Him and we serve Him and we stand with Him forever.
On Father’s Day, we want to remind ourselves what kind of Heavenly Father we have. In Jermeiah 29, we find that God has only good intentions towards His children. Submitting to His will, living in expectancy, and walking in prayer and purity release the plan and purpose of God in our lives.
Sometimes a rough season can last longer than we expected. No matter the length of a difficult season, God can still reveal Himself mightily if we continue to trust him. Whatever season we’re in, stay focused and set our hearts on our Kingdom message and mission.
Our church buildings were quiet during the quarantine. In history, God often set men aside before He would bring them to their next place of authority and service. Let’s pray we would be found faithful as we come out from quarantine into this new season.
Jesus had spoken clearly concerning His pending death, burial, and resurrection. In the face of distressing circumstances, the disciples needed to know what and when His return would happen. Jesus obliges then somewhat, not telling them everything. But still, Hegave them words of hope that would sustain them through a difficult and confusing season.
