One of the questions that I am most frequently asked is this: How long does one bottle last? And my answer based on my own interpretation and understanding from reading the FOL information website coupled with my own activated commonsense is as follows. How long a bottle of FOL will last the user might depends on a number of what I consider to be relevant factors. 1. How concern is the user about preserving and maintaining his/her overall good health. For example if the user does not take his/her overall good health seriously thereby following the recommended instruction or that of his/her healthcare professional then a bottle could last for as long as the user wishes or intend for it to last.
2. The overall physical and mental health status of the user. For instance if the user is in almost perfect health condition, then taking FOL in accordance to that which is recommend on the brochure for maintenance is all that is needed. However, if the user might be suffering from a particular illness for which it is found that FOL as a food supplement might be beneficial, then in accordance with the user’s own discretion based on his/her research findings or his/her healthcare professional’s advise then the amount of drops might be increased which evidently would decrease the regular amount of time a bottle of FOL would last a healthy individual.
3. The weight and size of the user. Here is a direct quote from one of the company’s advertisement/marketing brochure under the heading: Fountain of Life Usage Oral Consumption – Adults Only. “The daily dosage is usually dependent upon the body mass of the person. We recommend taking a minimum of 5 drops per day for users weighing 50 kg (110 lb) or less and 10 drops for those weighing over 50 kg. The users weighing over 100 kg (220 lb) should consider taking more than 10 drops to receive the maximum dietary benefit from Fountain of Life. The general rule is to add 1 drop per every 10 kg (22 lb) of body weight. For the average adult user of Fountain of Life, 10 drops a day is all you need to protect and preserve your well-being. It serves to support your body as it strives to ward off the impact of overwhelming free radicals from pollution, pesticides, UV radiation and other sources. However, adjust your intake accordingly to maximize the benefits of a high lignan diet.”
4. Let us do a little math here.
According to the Fountain Of Life website @ fol.one/themysticp each bottle contain 600 drops. Therefore, for a user taking the minimum 10 drops a day one bottle of FOL would last 60 days (ie, 600 divided by 10 = 60 which is approximately 2 months). If the user takes 20 drops a day one bottle would last him/her 30 days (approximately 1 month). If the user takes 30 drops a day the one bottle would last 15 days (approximately 2 weeks.) etc.
