ASK PHILO - The Dark Wisdom of Philo T Headbecker-Neecap, Rednecromancer (weekly as of 25 Sept 2020) WHAT'S COOL IN COMICS - With Shado of Carpe Diem Comics in McKinney, Texas (hiatus) THE ADEQUATE PODCAST - 2 seasons of a Gallimaufry of Randomness! (on hold / closed after Pod "B")

After far too long being cut off from Civilization or whatever passes for it around these parts, Philo Thibodeaux Headbecker-Neecap emerges from the regenerating swamp to bring you a slightly uncomfortably long update in which he talks about hurry-canes, burning swamps, regrowing swamps, redoubtable Postal Service workers, missing Grammaws, postcards from said missing Grammawsa, a "Manageable Number of Zombies" and a question from his good friend Trey which helps to raise awareness on a chronic medical condition not many people have heard of...
All this and possibly less in this edition of ASK PHILO.
Got a question for Philo? Spotify for Podcasters (formerly Anchor.fm) users can send their questions right in the Q&A section, and others can send their questions in to POD@THEAQEQUATE.COM - Philo reads all the questions we can get to him via the US Postal Service (bless 'em) and will likely answer YOURS on the "air" if he hasn't already done something like it previously.

In the aftermath of a surprising (even for the County) Hurry-cane, Philo T. Headbecker-Neecap, Rednecromancer, is here to give you an update as to the state of the county, the okra-craving zombies which are trying to rebuild there, high-grade adhesive tape, and why building a skeleton in the shape of what you want to have as an undead minion is sometimes more hassle than just buying it at the shop (or, as in Philo's Cousin Bertrand's case, having a proxy purchase and deliver it from the shop). The Giant Skeleton Halloween Decoration makes another (thematically appropriate) appearance, and Philo says a bunch of other stuff too, so...

From out of the swamps of NORTHERN South-East Texas comes another installment of ASK PHILO - in this podcast, Philo fields a question from a listener who is more than a little concerned about his alligator-skin boots, especially in regard to the last episode of ASK PHILO. Alligator boots and alligator meat are discussed, as well as a quick update on the whole "Zombie" situation out there in the County, and how pelicans do not make effective courier birds.

Now that we have a mailbox put up out here in the swamp again we might get more frequent installments from ol' Philo T. Heabecker-Neecap (Practitioner of the Dark Arts and Crafts in NORTHERN SouthEast Texas) and this time around he helps us understand how to spell the name of the county, some of the history behind the name, and an update on how things are going down there what with the zombies and zombie alligators and roadside pickled products vending and another appearance by Philo's dear ol' Gramma, the Revenant.

It's a 'fly in early - fly out late' situation, and one which I'm very, very familiar with thanks to how I grew up, and what I did for my RenFair gigs when I was living in Oregon and performing in California and Nevada. The Internet and I have both been around for rather a long time, and I'm a little annoyed that I'm not famous on it.
So I wrote a song about that back in 2016.
I've now written a podcast about that song. And here (along with the song) it is.
On top of that, we have TWO helpings of What's Cool in Comics (last week and this week) courtesy of Shado at Carpe Diem Comics in McKinney Texas!
We have "Internet Famous" moments where we mention folks who are, in fact Internet Famous (and for less effort than I've put in, I might add)
We have a WORD OF THE DAY
We have a bunch of other stuff!
We have effusive thanks to our Patreon Patrons: Jon, Laureen, Brian, and Mandi, who are supporting Adequacy In Our Lifetime at patreon.com/theadequate !
Let's get to the darn podcast, shall we?

Pod 44 is being delayed due to incompetency. Let's be frank - I tried to get a bunch of things recorded and just failed miserably.
During the interval, here's something short and silly courtesy of Shado from Carpe Diem Comics, and me thanking you, the listening audience.
... and an ad. The ad is there because I'm almost at the point where I can cash out the ad revenue and buy some food.
Thanks again to Jon, Laureen, Mandi and Brian for supporting Adequacy in our Lifetime over at Patreon.com/theadequate
