This is a little bit of how my weekend went. Hubby is back from deployment and the kids and I are VERY excited
My first book, I never thought I would write is here! This book was placed on my heart to write after a crazy, chaotic season in my life of building my business, Silk Spa Creations. In the pursuit of building my business, I was doing it like everyone else, Really hustling and grinding to build my business to be "successful" when it fact, I was doing the opposite, I was hurting myself and family in the process, which was hurting my business.
In the Message version it says: He won’t walk off and leave you in the lurch, He’s at your side until EVERY LAST DETAIL IS COMPLETED for conducting the worship of God.
When God calls us to step out or do certain projects that’s out of our comfort zone, it can cause us to get nervous, afraid, or even sweat, but REMEMBER God saying to us in His word: “Do Not be afraid, or dismayed… why? because I am with you and won’t leave you, until every last detail is completed! So, Be Strong, Courageous and continue to give God the Glory, in all you do!!!

I came across a quote that has hit me and it goes like this: “Self care is not selfish, you cannot serve from an empty vessel.” this quote is by Eleanor Brownn. When I came across this, it reminded me that as women, do we really know how to take care of ourselves? We tend to serve so much of ourselves for our family, children, husband, work, church, etc. on “E” (Empty) and just like a vehicle, when the car is on “E” the light comes on telling us that its time to fuel. Our bodies and spirit does the same thing, but as the times go, we ignore it, we say,” I can go a little further”, but is it really doing us any good to drive, or serve on “E”?

What is Success?
In the Webster dictionary success is: Achieving wealth, respect, or fame. After achieving success you will be happy and fulfilled. That is NOT the case AT ALL! I was at a job I where I made decent money and was able to help provide for the family, I thought that was success for me and my situation but after achieving that, I was VERY miserable.
Matthew 7:7-8(amp)
Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.
Note: God is the one that created you and I. God is the manufacturer, He is the one that created you with purpose and all WE have to do is just ask HIM and specifically ask, what is it? and along the way in life, God will show you.
In my process of finding out my purpose, in hindsight, I realized all I needed to do was ask and watch God show me, helping me to glorify HIM on earth. God delights in that, so why wouldn't He show us? He is our father in heaven and LOVE us so much. Thank you for taking the time to listen, tune in next time.
