Much of this was inspired by the events of Kill Shot, and what Tanis has to go through in that book to clear her name and pull off a victory.
Following our trip to Vegas for a writing conference, the team gets together to talk about what happens when technology goes amok.
This topic ties in tightly to Tau Ceti and the nanophage that they have to deal with in that system.

In this podcast, four of the Aeon 14 writers talk about how we deal with criticism, from the initial reaction to how we internalize it and then figure out what to do with what we've received.
We talk about the good, the bad, and how some feedback (both good and bad) has shaped how we write.
Our plan was to talk about education, coupled with information and interstellar commerce, but it we found ourselves quite animated on the subject of education, largely because it's so tightly connected to transumanism. As a result, we only covered that one topic, but it was a great chat!
Science and speculation! Where are all the aliens and what will we do if we meet them?
Editor's note. Michael shouldn't have doubted himself. 100 million years ago was smack dab in the middle of the Cretaceous period. Plenty of dinosaurs.
