Hip Hop, since its inception, has meant and held differing levels of significance. At first, thought of as the music genre for the rebellious and outcast to being a social commentator for the minority and their social ills. At its core, it was founded on four elements, namely, break-dancing, rapping/emceeing, DJ'ing and graffiti and evolved to having a fifth element, Knowledge of Self added to it. The Element hones in on the one true element of Hip Hop – namely the LOVE of Hip Hop, through the eras, across borders and through it’s different genres.
