“To be filled with knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (vs. 10), so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects. The realization of the Thesis (1:9-12) is the “Full assurance of understanding” (2:2) of “God’s mystery, that is, Christ himself.” “Spiritual wisdom, and the full assurance of understanding” comes with a personal responsibiltiy!

“What we seek and pursue reveals the things our mind (thinking) is set on!” Seek – Matt. 6:19-34 We seek what we treasure! Make sure you are teaching your children what is worth treasuring. Examine yourself 2 Cor. 13:5; 2 Pet. 2:1 – 10-11
-Remember- Christ as “Creator” (1:16) Christ is to have “first place in everything.” (1:17) Christ “reconciled” us and gave us the ministry of “reconciliation.” (1:20-22) and (II Cor. 5:14-21) The prayer of Colossians (1:3; 9)

In today's world, we need to know that Christ is Almighty. He is above all. Fear less, know that HE is almighty indeed.
In the Apostle Paul's opening statement to the Colossians he describes a beautiful heartfelt relationship among the Christians is Colossae and the universal effect it was having on the greater universal "body of Christ."
