Hustle culture is real.

I feel it! There’s so much pressure on us to do all the things. Do it now. Have the big to-do list and CRUSH it, day in and day out.

If you’re ambitious, you can probably relate to this.

Not only does our culture teach us to work soo dang hard, but it also validates us for working hard.

Today’s guest is someone who takes a lot of action - and helps others do the same.

Emily Williams is a success coach, author, podcast host and CEO who, at one point, couldn’t get a job at Starbucks.

After experiencing a quarter-life crisis, she moved from Ohio to London (where she knew no one!) and in 2014 launched her company, I Heart My Life. She made $442 in her first month—and then went on to hit six figures in six months, before her 30th birthday. She grew her business into seven figures in under 18 months.

Today, she works with ambitious, heart-centered women all over the world in helping them bust through the obstacles that hold their dreams and goals hostage so they can free themselves to create a life that's better than their dreams through the company's membership, courses and retreats. She also personally coaches entrepreneurs to help them scale their businesses (and their lives!) to new heights.

While Emily’s accomplishments are impressive - she’s been featured in FORBES, INC. SUCCESS, Money, Entrepreneur, Business Insider and so much more — today’s episode is about the exact opposite:

Tune into this episode to hear about slowing down, listening to your intuition, social media addiction, getting comfortable with pausing, quitting the things you need to quit, and putting a STOP on doing just for the sake of doing.

I've heard it countless times: "I really want to try a cold plunge, but where do I even begin?”

I get you. The struggle is real.

“How long should I endure the icy water?”

“Where is the best place to take the plunge?”

“How often should I commit myself to this chilly adventure?”

It's a whirlwind of uncertainties, a maze of HOWs.

One of my favourite tips for anyone interested in cold plunging, especially those people that don’t like to be
cold is …. to start cold plunging in the summer time.

So, here I am: creating a summer episode before I head on vacation – to help YOU start a cold plunge
habit or routine, even if you hate the cold.

My intention with this episode is to touch on the science bits, and the benefits…

But also, to speak to you on a personal level, and give you a FEMININE perspective.

And to tie it to something deeper than just the outer benefits… to tie it to your goals, to your dreams, and to
who you ARE as a human being.

All while keeping it simple and digestible enough so you can integrate it easily in your full, busy and
amazing life.

Whether you’re a professional, parent, entrepreneur, or hey, even living that passive-income lifestyle, I’ll tell you the truth:

Every woman - honestly, almost every human - I talk to is facing some common experiences. We’re working on prioritizing joy and self-care. We’re navigating success and cultivating resiliency in the face of adversity, challenges and failure. We’re balancing personal, family, and professional responsibilities.

And we’re deeply yearning for community, connection, and collaboration and whether we all have the language or awareness yet or not, we’re working towards being grounded, present, and conscious.

Today’s conversation touches on all of those topics and so much more. I’m honoured to be joined by Jenna Herbut an entrepreneur, visionary, author and creative powerhouse to talk all about this… and so much more.

Last year, around this time, when things in Canada started to re-open, I found myself looking around at what other people were wearing, and felt like a FISH out of water. It turns out somewhere in the last few years, we’ve gone from bikini bottoms to thong bottoms. And no-one sent me the memo.

Sometimes it feels like there’s a secret club that knows the trends, and I clearly am not on the email list. Staying up to date on fashion feels like a second job, and it’s hard to know how and where to stay up-to-date on trends and we wind up feeling lost.

Fashion and style also can be seen as superficial, as something that’s optional, or “froo-froo” and not taken seriously.

That’s why I’m so excited to be joined today by Tamara Mainardi, a Style Curator, which if you’re out of the loop like me, means a Personal Stylist to talk about the DEEPER meaning of fashion, style and how we can feel confident in our clothes and take it to the rest of our lives including our goals.

Why does this matter? Because you’ve got ONE life my friend, and whether you decide to go full thong on the beach, or not, I want YOU to feel confident, have FUN, feel GREAT in your body, and be ready to play with how you present yourself with the world.

Get ready to feel excited about dressing yourself, expressing yourself, and feel inspired and ready to have FUN with style.

When it comes to business, and frankly, all types of success, our culture seems to be SO focused on doing it fast. Get rich quick. Get 10,000 followers fast, $10k months NOW. Build and scale QUICKLY!!Those are the messages we all get sent multiple times a day, and of course, because of that, it’s NO WONDER we often feel like things are happening slowly, or we feel like we should be doing more, or feel like we’re falling behind.I know a LOT of us feel this pressure to do more, be more, do it faster, in fact why not do it yesterday!I ALSO know that a lot of us feel lonely and isolated. And we look around wondering why we aren’t “more successful” - no matter what the definition of success is.

There’s a beautiful African proverb that I believe describes what need to shift:“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

Today’s episode is about going far - together. In our hyper-individualized society, we’re doing it without villages, support networks, and close knit family and friends. This episode is about changing that: doing it differently… and going TOGETHER.Today’s guest is the incredible Danielle Wiebe. Danielle is a community builder, collaboration expert, business strategist and the founder of Business Babes Collective, a global community for female entrepreneurs.

This is all about showing you that there’s a different way to grow a business – and opening your mind to the idea that consistent collaborations and working collectively is a great way to grow your business (versus just trying to go viral and leaving it up to chance)

Look, I don’t know about you, but I know YOU and I have been put on this planet to do a lot more than just eat, sleep, work, pay bills, do some laundry, and then die.

And yet - when you look around, it seems like most people are doing just that: going through the motions, doing all the to-do’s without truly living with deep satisfaction, reverence or joy.

On some level, I believe most of us can feel it: we can FEEL the fact that most people on this planet are disconnected from their true selves, their purpose, and in many ways, just walking the prescribed path that our society has set out for them.

Chances are, you’re here - you’ve been guided in some way here - because you sense that there’s a disconnection. You sense that you’re missing a piece of fulfillment in your life and that there has to be more to your existence … more to what you’re doing here than just doing for the sake of doing, and endless productivity without the inspiration and motivation that comes from alignment.

It’s no secret that we’re not given the tools on how to process energy and the emotions of life… and so we carry it with us or express it in ways that aren’t healthy or supportive of the life we want or the people we want to be.

In today’s episode, I’m honoured to be joined by Robert Grover and Gary Logan, two MASTER Spiritual Advisors and Human Potential Experts. Together, they are The Journeymen Collective.

Friend, I can’t promise exactly what you will take from this episode but I can promise you this: there will be medicine in here that meets you with exactly what you need.

There are beautiful, gorgeous nuggets in here and a connection to something deeper, more powerful, more enlightening and grounding than a “map with 5-steps to success” can offer.

If you haven’t yet heard about ChatGPT, you might be living under a rock.

I say that with no judgement - because usually that’s me. I mean, to this day, I’ve never watched an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashian's and I legit could not pick out any of them out of a crowd except for Kim.

But something about this tool, ChatGPT, caught my attention, and it’s blown my mind and I have a feeling it’s about to blow yours too :)

In this episode, I really want to focus on how it can help YOU to save time, and save your mental energy, help you with decision fatigue. Not so you can add  more to your overfull plate – and keep people pleasing and over perfecting sh*t.

NO.

I want you to save your brain power, and your energy so you can spend more time LIVING, enjoying, and being in YOUR zone of genius. Live your BEST LIFE my friend! Sleep more, yoga more, dance more, whatever you desire!!

If you are reading this, chances are you grew up hearing the same recipe for success that I did. The recipe went something like this: Go to school. Get a degree. Maybe a second degree, or masters or Ph.D. Get a stable job with benefits, and a retirement plan. Stay there until age 65, then retire.

BAM! Success would be inevitable.

It was great advice a few decades ago. The reality of today is that so many people are stuck in jobs that aren’t supportive of the life they want to be living. Maybe that’s you: you’re doing work you don’t enjoy. Maybe you have a creative pursuit or passion and don’t know how to go for it. Maybe you know there’s untapped potential within you and you know your job isn’t the way it’s going to come out. You know that freelancing can serve as a way out but you don’t know how to actually make the transition. Maybe you’re afraid. Afraid of not knowing how and afraid of failure You might be worried that your career growth may be stunted. And of course, you’re driven - ambitious - passionate about doing cool work in this world.

I know taking the leap into freelancing can be scary and overwhelming,

That’s why I’m honoured to be joined by Joy Batra, author of the brand-new book “The Freelance Mindset: Unleashing Your Side Hustles for Better Work, Play, and Life”.

Traditional thinking and traditional real estate investing strategies go something like this:

Save up for a down payment. Choose a property. Go get a mortgage for 60-80% of the value of the property. Spend your savings on the down payment. Acquire property.

Then repeat, if you want to grow.

That is what you’ve been taught, right?

Well, here’s the problem: saving up money for a down payment plus closing costs can take a while.

Here’s the other problem with scaling in real estate: when it comes to residential financing - aka - the mortgage - , the bank decides how much they’re going to lend you based on your personal income.

Eventually, you’ll hit an income ceiling. Then you can no longer buy rental properties in this “traditional way”.

That is until we heard about creative financing, OPM - AKA Other People’s Money.

Both new and seasoned investors are hitting “Pause” on real estate right now. The reason? Rising interest rates. In 2022, the Bank of Canada did 7 increases on the interest rate, and on January 25th from the Bank of Canada, the rates were raised yet again, kicking 2023 off with even higher interest rates. As real estate investors, we’ve noticed it.  If you have a variable rate mortgage, no doubt you’ve noticed it.

So, what’s a real estate investor to do? What does the future hold?

The truth is, none of us have a crystal ball, but for this episode, I asked some of my favourite real estate experts: fellow investors, mortgage brokers, realtors, and people who do many of those things for their words of wisdom.

Whether you’re a seasoned investor, or just getting started, this episode will give you valuable insider insights, and tips for navigating this ever-evolving interest rate environment. So sit back, relax (I know, easier said than done with these rates), take a few deep breaths, and listen in:

Or maybe lack thereof. Or perhaps the year just FLEW by – and you’re left a little stunned - feeling happy, busy and not grounded or fully rooted in the experience.

The promise of real estate investing? You’ve probably seen the ads and can imagine it now: Long, lazy days on a beach in the Caribbean. Snorkeling today, reading your favourite book again tomorrow. All this possible with real estate properties that pay you tens, hundreds of thousands of dollars… for doing nothing!

The reality of real estate ownership? Phone calls with property managers. Printing, filling out, scanning and mailing documents back to the bank and your legal team. Entering expenses into spreadsheets and accounting software, overseeing (or potentially doing) renovations, negotiating insurance and managing a team.

And the truth? Not all real estate investing is passive - in fact, a lot of ISN’T!

Today, I’m joined by my husband and business partner, Troy Michaud, to talk about the realities of real estate investing and BUST the myth of “passive” real estate and tell you the good, the bad, and mostly just the truth.

In the last episode of Goalden Girls Podcast, I had the honour of interviewing Aditya Jaykumar, Certified Breathwork Practitioner and host of one of the top spiritual podcasts in the world, My Seven Chakras. Aditya is all about bringing ancient wisdom to the world for the modern mind - and today for us, Golden Girls Podcast listeners. In this episode, we dive into a variety of healing modalities and creating natural altered states of consciousness.

You’ll learn about how to do this through breathwork, floatation, and the science and power behind brief intermittent hypoxia (aka holding your breath). You’ll also learn about the power of yawning (and not just to be told it’s rude!) and about the ancient practice of Qigong. Aditya also spoke candidly about the recent resurgence and interest in these ancient practices, the real cultural appropriation - and cultural distancing - that is happening –  and the importance of respectful, conscious use of these practices.

In the last two episodes, Episodes 66 and Episodes 67, I’ve had the honour of interviewing Aditya Jaykumar, Certified Breathwork Practitioner and host of one of the top spiritual podcasts in the world, My Seven Chakras. In part 3 of our conversation - the episode you’re listening to now - we talk about three more ancient practices to experience more joy, bliss, presence and beauty in our life.

Aditya speaks about Vedanta - which is something modern day neuroscientists love and appreciate – and Ayurvedic oil baths, two practices that were BRAND new to me. We also talk about plant medicine versus breathwork, and then (my favourite) cold exposure, something I’m borderline evangelical about…and why the heck you should try it too. We also talk about the importance of integration when it comes to any practice and healing modality and how to continue your growth beyond the moments you’re in it.

I invite you to come to this episode - all episodes - and especially, your whole life, ready to receive. Ready to listen.

As with everything I create, I truly hope it will serve you. Dig into these practices, and enjoy, my friend!

I believe we are in a pivotal moment in history: we are at a place where our broken systems and our cultural failings are at the forefront and it's super dang uncomfortable. Our culture has been toxic for a while and I think we’ve hit a point where it’s showing in so many aspects of life from “health care” to education, our financial and political systems, our media - all the way to our communities and the way we interact with each other, online and offline. I know I’m not the only one that sees this and feels this.

Today’s episode is a little different: it’s an extraction from an Instagram live I recorded a few months ago. I cannot overstate how scared I was to record this, and to even speak up in the slightest, for fear of disappointing people, for fear of losing friendships, or making people mad, even though most of what I share in this episode is not, in fact, controversial.

If you’ve been struggling with HOW to start to heal the divide and how to reconnect with others, this is for you and these are my thoughts. If you’ve been wondering how you can start to speak up on ANY topic that feels “divisive” and help to BE THE BRIDGE, I see you and we NEED YOU!

Alcohol: It’s hard to think of a social event in our culture that DOESN'T include some form of alcohol. If you know me at all, you know I LOVE my wine. I also enjoy beer and am a huge fan of unique cocktails - I’m probably just about the first person my friends think of when they think of someone to have a drink with. And as a result, I’m probably the LAST person you’d expect to talk about a subject like sobriety and alcohol free living.

In this episode, I’m joined by Meredith Garritsen for a discussion about alcohol free living and we’re going to talk more about our “area of expertise” – social drinking, and the drinking that many of us do on a daily or weekly basis. So, whether you’ve woken up hungover one too many times, said the wrong thing one too many times, are interested in improving your health, or just curious about sobriety and MINDFUL drinking might look like in your life, listen in.

And if you ever worry that it’s not as much fun, you won’t have as many friends, or be as social without alcohol, we hope this episode changes that, and encourages you to lean in.

As you may know, I have a business degree - and in particular, a double major in accounting and finance -  and let me tell you, despite this, every day I learn SO much in business, personal finance, and real estate that I did not know. Here’s another one of those topics I didn’t know anything about: private equity and venture capitalism. Today I’m honored to be joined by Yuri Fulmer - someone who knows a LOT about finance, business, private equity, and venture capitalism.

When I put the question out there on social media to YOU and asked “what do YOU want to know about private equity and venture capitalism” the resounding answer was “EVERYTHING”.  So, my friend, here’s my best attempt at covering as much as possible and as close to “everything” as is possible in a 45 minute episode.  Buckle up friend… here we go!

Sometimes, we just have to step out of our comfort zone.

Today, is one of those days. I’m doing a totally off-the-cuff Goalden Girls episode - that means no script, no SEO keywords, no rehearsal, and no fancy intro.

That means that you might hear me shuffling my notes a little bit because I have all these different papers in front of me - BUT like I said, no perfect script, just something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

So get comfortable and listen in to hear about how to get the support that you need - yes, YOU - when you’re going through a hard time. Nobody does it alone, that is a fact, and sometimes…people don’t know how to show up for you. Or they don’t know what to do to help you.

If you’re going through a hard time, or you’ve been through a hard time (we all have!), and you want to know how to get through it, or how to support someone else through a hard time - this is an episode you won’t want to miss!

It’s been a while. Almost exactly a year, in fact. A lot has happened. Good. Bad. Challenging. Excruciatingly painful. Soul-crushing, and soul-filling. So, I thought I’d record an episode and give you a life update as we get ready to kick off and fire up Goalden Girls Podcast again.

In this episode, I’m sharing the last year and the ups and downs I’ve experienced, including the massive health challenges I faced, my newfound passion for politics, and what I really think about the covid mandates and our response to the pandemic. As I share this, I’m literally overwhelmed with ALL the emotions and I’m so grateful to each of you who listen, who have reached out, and for listening here.

Thanks for being here. for listening, and for caring. I hope you enjoy this episode as I pull back the curtain on my life, mind, body, and soul.

There are a lot of wild things happening in the world today. What I’m about to say might sound bold, but here goes anyway: I really believe that a lot of the issues we see today - from our global and local leadership, to the challenges we face in our humanity, all the way down to the personal struggles you and I have in our lives - comes down to the fact that it is hard, it is uncomfortable, and also completely necessary to be radically authentic in our life.

It’s important in the way we show up in our world, and if you’re just tuning in, go back and listen to Episode 58 to get part of my conversation with heart-centred, metalhead, and business strategist, Amber Swenor.

In this episode, you’ll hear about Amber's breakdown, what human design is, and how you can use it to help you create the right strategy for you and your success. You're also going to hear about how Amber showed up radically authentic in this pandemic, and she shares the journey of when I first met her, working 80 plus hours a week for the startup season of our business, to the sacrifices you make to get to the point where she is now, running three successful businesses with over a million dollars in revenue and working less than 40 hours a week. So without further ado, enjoy this episode, my friend, and thank you so much for listening.

Do you ever feel like you have to look, act, speak, or even think a certain way in order to be successful? Do you ever feel like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole? Maybe it’s just me, but it often seems like there’s a few very narrow definitions of “success’, namely “leadership”, “business,” even what it means to be “professional” in our world - and honestly, not a lot of them appeal to me.

The truth is so many of us aren’t even awakened to what success means to us, and even if we do know, we don’t know HOW to get there. If any of this resonates with you, this episode and the next one are for you. Today I’m joined by Amber Swenor, a transformational brand strategist who is passionate about helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses on their own terms. Amber is not your average anything. She’s a 7-figure entrepreneur running three companies, the lead singer in a metal band, AND she doesn’t work more than 40 hours a week.

In this episode, we talk about authenticity, and how the HECK she weaves her rocker personality into her million dollar businesses, how fears can stop us from being authentic, why radical authenticity needs to be talked about, and how your biggest challenge can be a path to growth and lead to your biggest breakthroughs.

At the end of this episode, you’ll have permission to OWN who you are. If you’re a heart-centered human, we hope this episode helps you stop worrying so much about others, because the truth is: you’re probably doing JUST fine.

Have you ever wanted to work from home? Well, for many of us, that dream has certainly come true.

More than ever right now, as we come together in community to stop the spread of Covid-19, OH SO many of us are working from home.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, solopreneur, corporate employee, or corporate leader -- and any of those things and suddenly trying to work remotely with your kids, chances are you’re realizing there’s a steep learning curve involved.

While the idea of no commute (and no pants) seems tempting for many, as someone who’s worked from home, let me give you this gift of learning from others’ mistakes -- and the things that have worked.

To support you and save you that STEEP learning curve, I’ve put together two special podcast episodes for you all about working from home.

In today’s episode, I’m talking to Tatiana Correa, who’s in charge of the Global Talent Experience for Shopify’s employees around the world. She’s helped build community and teams who are remote in different countries and different time zones.

PLUS, she’s worked from home herself and learned a thing or two.

Even though I’ve worked from home for the last few years, I STILL learned a ton from Tatiana.

And it was especially valuable hearing how her team - which works remotely all the time - is finding new ways to thrive in our current, social distancing reality.

Whether you’re new to working from a home office, an introvert who’s loving this and as productive as ever, an extrovert who’s adjusting to working from home, a parent who’s trying to figure out HOW to work from home with kids also at home… an entrepreneur leading a remote team, or a leader now trying to lead a remote team, this is for you.

I promise you this - Even during this time of challenge, you’re going to learn some real takeaways, sprinkled with positivity, hope, and some laughs.

You’ll be ready to be more productive, find a routine that works for you and even includes showering - which if you’ve never worked from home - you’ll find out it’s harder than you think...… and maybe even keep your kid off the conference call - while working from home.

Life’s thrown (more than) a few curveballs so far this year. How’s THAT for an understatement:

Let me start with saying this - I drafted my notes for this a few days ago… and it’s safe to say the world has changed for many of us - myself included - since I first made my notes. And it’s going to continue to change.

This year has been a RIDE!!

We can’t always make sense of what comes our way, but I do know this: life WILL surprise you. There will be obstacles to overcome. Each and every one of will face adversity along our journey - whether it’s related to our goals or not.

But here’s the thing: this isn’t just an episode about Coronavirus or COVID-19 - I want it to be something you can come back to - anytime life throws us curveballs. Because it will.

I wish I could promise you that those things won’t happen - but I can’t. There will be obstacles.

But what I can promise you is this: that you’re the only one. And there are some things that have helped me face adversity, that I will share in hopes it will help you too.

In this episode, you’ll hear the behind-the-scenes of my life (in case you’re curious), what has helped me in the last few months.. I’m also going to talk about a tricky question - one I asked myself too: How to know if a curveball is a challenge to overcome…. Or if life is guiding you in a different direction (aka a blessing in disguise)?

Here’s what’s helped as I’ve been learning to catch the curveballs, dance in the rain, and thrive in the chaos.

Why make mistakes when you can learn from mine?

Even I make mistakes when it comes to my goals and honestly, I hope you don’t make them too.

That’s the whole point of this episode, Goalden Girl.

Today, I’m sharing my 2019 year in review for my business - what worked, and what didn’t.

These lessons can help YOU with ANY goal you set (even though I’m sharing the behind the scenes in my business).

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, professional, work-at-home parent, artist, creative, athlete, ANYTHING -- these lessons are specific to the goal of growing my business (with a dash of some business wisdom I gained that I know will help you if you ARE an entrepreneur).

Now you may be wondering… why am I bearing my soul, my bank account, and a whole lot of vulnerability?

I want you to see the good and the bad. The success, and the messes behind the highlight reel.

Listen in on this episode where I share both so that you can have more successes for yourself, and learn from the messes I made so you make 2020 your best year ever!

The end of the year is here. Did you achieve your goal?

If you did, HIGH FIVE to you!

But chances are you’re one of the 99% of people who didn’t achieve their goal.

Welcome to the club (one I belong to, also!).

If you didn’t achieve your goal, chances are, you’re feeling disappointed. Maybe you’re embarrassed.

Maybe you’re exhausted, or ready to give up.

If you didn’t achieve your goal, how do you deal? And should you just give up?

Spoiler alert: It’s a HARD NO on that one.

Instead, right now, it’s a chance to reflect, reassess, recharge, CELEBRATE and revitalize.

By the end of this episode, you’ll go from feeling disappointed and maybe embarrassed about your goals, to celebrating how far you HAVE come.

You’ll get clarity on why you didn’t achieve your goal, and understand the most important question to ask yourself: Do you STILL WANT this goal?

Goalden Girl, the biggest thing I can promise to you is this: You’ll let go of the guilt, the shame… and the pressure.

You’ll be refreshed, and optimistic about what the new year holds for you: whether it’s a new goal, a jump-start on the old goal, or a reset all-together.

It’s time to celebrate you, the lessons, the mistakes, and get excited for what’s next for you because you are capable of ANYTHING!

Do you ever struggle to prioritize or make decisions?

Or do you ever feel yourself being pulled in two (or even three) different directions?

Yeah. Me too.

But did you know that knowing - and using - your values can help you in every day situations?

Knowing your values can help you make decisions, prioritize and live life happier, every day.

The truth is that in every moment, we are making choices.

Choices of spending more time working, or with family.

Or taking an exotic or relaxing vacation… or visiting relatives (even though we know that often is anything but relaxing or a “vacation”).

Knowing your values makes these types of trade offs easier to make and will allow you to make them with confidence.

In this episode, we’re doing some deep exploration on your values. This is an excerpt from our year-round goal-getting program called Goalden Girls Community and I’m so excited to share it with you.

Be warned: this isn’t your typical “circle your values” exercise. This is one that actually works and helps you ditch all of those darn “shoulds” so you can get down to what you TRULY value!

Get ready to learn:

  1. Strategies for determining what your values are, why they are important and how they can help you in goal setting and life in general
  2. What to do when you have two (or more) competing values
  3. How to use your values to make decisions for setting goals and to live your best life

Be honest: are you an entrepreneur who has no idea what you’re doing?

Are you working SO hard and still not making enough money?

Or maybe you’ve had some success but you’re overwhelmed by all the things and not sure how and where to start with growing your business (or just going on a vacation).

Have you ever caught yourself saying “I just need more followers” or “I need a bigger audience” before I can grow my business?

Yes, yes and YES.

I’m just as guilty as you, which is why I brought in business coach Lindsay Johnson (aka The Radical Connector) to get us aligned and into effective action… fast!

Today’s episode is all about why you DON’T need a bigger following to grow your business and how to stop feeling lost and overwhelmed.

Lindsay shares with us what to focus on to make real money in your business today so you can work less and earn way more, doing what you love (sounds awesome, right?!).

With over 20 years of business development experience (yes, she was growing businesses before Instagram, Facebook and even Youtube!), Lindsay Johnson is a business coach for first-time entrepreneurs.

By the end of this episode, you’ll learn:

  • The biggest mistakes new entrepreneurs make and how to avoid them
  • Why it feels like you’re working SO hard and still not seeing the results you want (aka, the money!)
  • How imposter syndrome limits an entrepreneur’s success and what to do instead
  • Why having more followers, a bigger list and a bigger audience are NOT what new entrepreneurs should focus on
  • The things you can do (RGAs) to actually make money in your business, no matter how new it is (or how long it’s been)
  • How long it actually takes to grow a business, and the secret behind the success of entrepreneurs like Amy Porterfield, Brendon Burchard, Rachel Hollis and more

Most of all, you’ll give yourself a break because building a business can be DAMN hard - and we’re here to support you in this journey.

Listen in and take a big sigh of relief because it’s not you… it’s what you’re doing.

And that’s all about to change.

I know you’ll love this episode - and Lindsay - as much as I do!

Please take a moment to subscribe here so you don’t miss a thing. I’d also love it if you left a review (you can click here), and shared this podcast with a friend, coworker, family member or anyone else you adore that needs to hear this.

Believe it or not we all have the SAME amount of time.

You. Me. Beyonce. Oprah. That’s right, even OPRAH!!!

But why does it seem like some people get so much more done and have it all together?!

Hired help aside, how do you do more with the time you have - so that you feel more relaxed, less busy and less stressed?

How do you feel ok about taking the time to have a relaxing bath.. or a much needed nap?

How do you let go so you can sit in peace and quiet with a cup of tea.

Or exercise consistently? Or take a vacation!!

These are things that we all yearn for.

And I’m here to tell you it’s all possible - and I know this because I’ve made all the mistakes (and will continue to make them)... and I’ve spent a lot of energy and dedicated time helping women find more balance in their life - whatever that means to them.

Sound intriguing?

Before you press Play, promise me this: you have listened to the last two episodes: Episode 7 and Episode 8.

Why is it so important?

Episode 7 will help you get CLARITY and ANSWER 4 key questions before you implement one more time management strategy.

And Episode 8 is all about UNDERSTANDING YOUR MINDSET — the mindset shifts to uncover and shift to have more time and balance in your life.

This episode builds on its previous foundations and teaches you GOAL-GETTING strategies that help you invest the time you do have to creating the life you want.

And you can do this all without the burnout, exhaustion or becoming a total hermit with no friends.

You’ll look at your habits to:
Figure out where your time is going - and make sure it’s the right place
Plan for success
Ensure you have the right daily habits in place
And of COURSE — do the right things.

This is what you didn’t learn in high school (and what your HR department won't talk about), but trust me, it will change your life NOW.
