So if we don't want to stop using computers, electronics, Apps, phones, etc. we are stuck with them, so wouldn't it be better to learn more and work with them to get them to do the right things in our communities, respect our land, water, and environment. And in the meantime, get our politicians to stop giving away the farm and get some legislation to protect us from being being over surveilled and having our data collected 24/7.

Anxiety and depression is driven by constant comparison on social media, academic/career pressure, and uncertainty about the future.
And lack of purpose is driven by career uncertainty, financial stress, and global instability.

I think the best part of this episode is that there is not any agenda to prove anything or specific fact to prove or disprove. It is a conversation about regulations and the deregulation of our second amendment rights. From that, we also cover some things that we think don't make sense in a few instances that have hurt gun rights, and have not been discussed about more as a way to cover up something where guns were used. There is a new regulation coming out that you should be alarmed about. But it's just the new shiny object. So while I'm at exposing this one, I may as well talk about many other things we should get alarmed about, be more aware of and get involved in exposing the politicians who are dealing this chaos to us.
Stop trying to play darts and trying to focus your aim and your frustrations on individuals or groups you think are the problem. Unfortunately, there are so many individuals and groups working against America for their own benefit we the people are losing. And we are not losing because we are outnumbered, out financed, or out smarted. I couldn't think of a better title. The Chaos and Narratives we are being fed on a dail basis is keeping us distracted from the facts. We have been conditioned to blame the politicians or narrative or ideology we hate more than looking at the facts. As a rresult, America is losing freedom fast.
Louisiana State Representative Larry Bailey has introduced HB1085 to get rid of brake tags. But some people think it's a "bait n switch," because it replaces it with a QR code that still has a yearly tax and your information can get pulled up by anyone scanning it. And there are worries that cameras and scanners can be used to track you. Representative Bagley explains it all here.
Should we have birthright citizenship? Did the founding fathers want it automatically? Was the 14th amendment done correctly? Who controls immigration? We need to over haul the immigration system because it is not working.
A precedent has been set in Louisiana to weaken property rights in Louisiana. The HB7 vote could be a decision that gives business and industry too much access to private property. If the decision itself does not weaken property rights, the process that happened could be a blueprint on how to get access to property rights in the future through the Legislative process. America be warned. As I always say, "what is happening in each State can be coming to your State too."
Right off the cuff it sounds really like an impossible thought. Even if you choose to stay galvanized in your beliefs, at least let evertything going on serve as a reminder that we are not being told everything and that more is going on than we see.

I get it, politicians on the right say and do some things that we don't always agree with, but the other side is definitely out of touch. WE can all agree that America has been heading in the wrong direction with the policies and politicians of the past. Now we have an opportunity while this administration is in office to fix many things to get America back on track for everyone. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by the little things, especially when someone on our own side says it. Stay in and find ways to bring more people into the movement to get America back on track for everyone. Stop the stealing of our Country by corrupt politicians, illegal aliens, and the bureaucratic state. Start looking at what they do instead of being distracted by what they say.
Katie Daniel of the Susan B. Anthony Organizations tells us what the Hyde Amendment is from a pro life perspective. However, as she explains it, we can see it is one of the countless examples of how government and politicians abuse our tax dollars and get around the Constitution. This is a small example of how they navigate the back hallways of our Constitution and laws.
We are being manipulated and programmed to think certain ways to allow ourselves to be divided and distracted from seeing what is going on and finding solutions. They don't have to steal our freedoms. All they have to do is control them and their success is our demise.
Rick Hill has been on my show before discussing his story of how how he beat a deadly disease using very unpopular methods by using his medical freedom. His interview actually got me cancelled from YouTube. In this episode he brings us to what he has discovered since. We live in a world where people will argue to win even when they are not correct. Their agenda becomes more important. It is happening everywhere, but it hurts us the most when "the people in charge" or in influential positions do it. They will argue us down to the ground that up is down and down is up, and they don't care about the damage it does to the truth.

I get it ..... "open your eyes" is actually a lame way to be repetetive and say pay attention. But it's the nice way to ask the people that are looking through their rose colored glasses thinking they are watching, to take their glasses off and see things for the way they really are.
Is it time to challenge Eminent Domain? Have judges in the past interperpreted it incorrectly? Should we rethink it? Do we really need it? Politicians and Government benefit from it and become more powerful off of it. It is no longer fro the public use or good as much as it is for the "politicians" benefit.
The Judicial system in America is gaining control. Both sides of the aisle agree in some way. Judicail Precedent is creating laws instead of the Legislative process in America and in our States. Judges are legislating from the bench with opinions, narratives, and ideologies.
All of a sudden elected officials on both sides are running from Epstein after they both cozied up to him. Now they blame each other for their ties to him. But they wanted his connections and influence. Now he is a weapon of mass public humiliation for the entire Country. And I didn't think we would have to defend the 1st and 2nd Amendments in this administration, but these stories are proof that we always have to be watching out for the Constitution.
Judges, the courts, and the judicial system is gaining more power in America. Bureaucracies are strangling liberty. And politicians prefer creating senseless laws governing our economic policies instead of letting capitalism and the natual laws of economics prevail and create opportunitly.
Everyone keeps talking about how many people are affected by the government shutdown and how many people will be affected, but no one is asking these questions pertaining to the shutdwon.
Louisiana is becoming ground zero for several issues. Election integrity, Congressional districts, and Carbon Capture are becoming a bigger issue everywhere else too. Bert Callais is heading up lawsuits on the first two and very involved on the latter. For those who ask why he, just an average citizen is doing so, he will say, "When I took the oath for the military to defend the Constitution, it wasn't for just while I was in there." So he is continuing his oath by being involved in these issues. In thiss interview he explains them all.

We can't have enough free speech. Too much is never enough. But along with free speech we need to have respect. Sounds like common sense, but the problem with common sense is that it is not common enough. Respect, listening, and ctirical thinking lead to constructive dialogue and solutions. More common sense, but the people that want to control us use narratives, ideologies, and rhetoric to drown out common sense and divide us. When we defend freedom with repspect our Creator will have our back in helping us defend it for everyone.

In this episode are what I think are the ingredients as to why we are losing Humanity in America. Generations before have been conditioned to believe in ideologies that are bad for America. Bureaucrats and Politicians have created laws based on feelings and ideologies instead of common sense. Mark Meckler is the founder and President of the Convention of States. I interviewed him at the Louisiana Capitol. I also interviewed two locals that are involved in the Louisiana Chapter. Before Mark's interview those two short interviews can be heard. The first is with Julie Sandifer, Director of the Louisiana chapter, Dale Clary, the Legislative liaison for COS, and then Mark Meckler.

I think the information about what is happening in the war in Ukraine is getting watered down, lost in translation, or is getting intentionally left out. There is an agreement called the Budapest Memorandum which in my opinion brings a lot of information out that will highlight things that are being said in public today. Grover Norquist (Twitter: @GroverNorquist) is president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), a taxpayer advocacy group he founded in 1985 at President Reagan’s request. ATR works to limit the size and cost of government and opposes higher taxes at the federal, state, and local levels and supports tax reform that moves towards taxing consumed income one time at one rate.
ATR organizes the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, which asks all candidates for federal and state office to commit themselves in writing to the American people to oppose all net tax increases. In the 117th Congress, 175 House members and 44 Senators have taken the pledge.

Dan Albert is passionate about America and believes its' future is assured by the integrity of our elections. He wrote his book, "The Albert Plan," to share his ideas to protect our elections. His ideas don't have to be perfect, but they should be thought about. Why? Because in my opinion if more of us start thinking about what can be done to positively secure our elections, we get more ideas out there, and more people get involved. And that is what it will take to secure them. If you think our elections are fine the way they are, that is fine too. But remember, as time goes on, modernization of society will require things to update and change. And in this case doing something by getting involved is better than watching things change and not having anything to do with it. Which is why I like to talk about it. So please listen with an open mind and brainstorm some of these ideas as they may not be the final answers but could lead to other ideas.

States are waking up to the fact that the best way to protect the interest of their citizens from the Federal Governments overreach is to use their 10th amendment rights and pass their own laws representing the interests of their citizens. As I do interviews with Representatives in my home State of Louisiana, I frequently think about how often issues in every State overlap. What you hear in the national news is happening on a local level in every State. In New Orleans Councilman Freddie King wants to pass a law to force parking lots to have an attendant or maybe a security guard present on game day. I say this is the City of New Orleans being derelict of their duty to maintain safety in our city. They are trying to force businesses and cities to pay for the safety their tax dollars are supposed to provide them. It's an efringement on freedom, and a hidden tax on everyone. And it will create unintended consequences for everyone in the City. And if this law is passed, elected officials that passed it will brag and boast on how great it is and how hard they are working for us, while making us pay more for what they are not doing. It's like paying a business for their services, and not getting the services, and the business asks you to do the service for yourself. Kind of like self check out or self security in this case.

Who likes tax increases? Not me. or just about everyone else. But who wants lower crimes rates? Most of the same people that don't want higher taxes still want lower crime rates. I don't like big bloated government. But this is not an example of it. And it's easier to scrutinize individual compartments of government i.e. individual taxing districts, to see how efficient they are. In the case of the Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Department, I think scrutinizing it will make the case FOR a millage increase to keep the good police officers we have here, and bring new ones here that will make a career and friends and families within our community. The first few minutes I have a brief introduction, the next 25 minutes are with Sheriff Joe Lopinto, and after the interview is my bonus content with an analysis I offer on some information I found. I am not in law enforcement nor do I have specific qualifications in that area, but neither does most of the people that will be voting on it. So I think that my "laymen's" observation will appeal to many people. Please share it with others.

Yes, there are good elected officials that are not only doing a good job, but they are being good stewards of our money. And that is why I am so complimentary of WENDY THIBODEAUX, Assessor for Lafourche Parish. In this video not only does she explain what an assessor does, but she let's us know that assessors do not have to charge the full amount of millages that we the people voted for... In other words we have more control over what we are charged than we realize. And a good assessor does not charge us when their "district" doesn't need our money. Like when an assessing district like a library as a surplus of 5 million dollars of our money, that would be better in our checking accounts. And get a preview of the Constitutional Amendment we will be voting on next year that Wendy helped us get on the ballot working with State Senator, Gary Smith to help us have better chance of lower taxes from responsible Assessors that care about their fiduciary responsibilities to the people of Louisiana.

You would think since taxpayers pay the money to provide government with the money to maintain and improve our streets that the citizens would have a say. This organization talks about what the City of New Orleans is doing to the streets in their neighborhood, and how it is part of a movement by city planners all across the nation. "They" say it's for safety, but this group shows how unsafe it actually is.
There were 28 bills vetoed in Louisiana's 2021 session, depending on how you count them. There were 11 line item vetoed bills in HB2 and 27 more. This podcast will tell you the bill numbers, who "authored" them, a brief description of them, and why Governor Edwards vetoed them. And of course, I'll provide some commentary too. The information in here will have a lot to think about as to why Louisiana is where it is.

State Representative Robby Carter is from District 72 from the Amite, Louisiana area. He proudly has held this seat before and after Governor John Bel Edwards. Representative Carter is one of the most inquisitive legislators on the floor of the house in Baton Rouge. Yes, he asks a lot of questions. But is that a bad thing to question what is about to be put into effect for us to have to live by? Or are the questions bad? I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Or is it that questions slow down the process? And is slowing down the process bad? I guess it depends on who's legislation is getting slowed down. So many questions, yet so little time. Or is it that his passion to help "the working people" as he puts it, just come out in the form of a question? Let's ask Representative Carter....

Senator Stewart Cathey Jr. is a very soft spoken person who doesn't seem to be very vocal, however his passion for his position as a Senator and Louisiana shouts volumes for how much he cares about our State. He "hasn't been home in a month," because he has been staying in Baton Rouge to make sure he is up on the issues and there to work on smart legislation. He has served our country in Afghanistan in the Army and now we have him here in the Louisiana Legislature using some of the same skills. Learn about them and him in this interview. Pat Moore State Representative District 17 tells a personal story that has guided her in one of her pieces of legislation that is going through this session. She also explains something that has not been said in any of my other interviews by other representatives. Pat tells us about the legislation she is deferring until next year, why, and how people can get involved in it to make it better. I enjoy interviewing elected officials for many reasons, but more so because I think it's a good way to inform people about what is going on. But I really enjoy interviewing candidates, because not only can I get people informed, but it helps to get people involved and motivated to vote. My enthusiasm for this process is noticeable, because I want people to be more connected. I often talk about qualifications of elected officials and public service. In this interview with Daryl Deshotel, Louisiana State Representative, you will see both. He is a young guy that is retired with a lot of knowledge in the technology industry and could easily use his time to make more money, spend more time with his family, or use his youth to create a new business. Instead he is practically giving his time and experience in the technology industry to the people of Louisiana in a full time capacity with part time pay. I say this a lot, because I think most people in Baton Rouge are in it for the right reason because of the demands on their time for little pay. And Representative Deshotel is using his time and knowledge in the technology sector to help Louisiana with some legislation on Broadband for rural areas and cyber security for everyone in Louisiana.
In this interview with Royce Duplessis we talk about the usual that I do in my interviews... right? Yes, but while I may ask many of the same questions to create an even platform where everyone can come together to inform the people of Louisiana, each individual representative usually adds in unique pieces of information, insight to the way they think, or why they vote they way they do.
