According to the Global Liveability Index of 2019, Moscow was ranked as the top biggest improver in the last five years, ranking 68 out of 140 countries.
For this episode, I spoke with my mother, Natalia about her experience growing up in Moscow during the 1970’s, and how the liveability of her hometown, Солнцево (Solntzevo) has changed over time.
Today we’re going to be speaking with some women about their stories and experiences living in Sydney. We’re also going to talk about a few key issues including catcalling culture in cities, gendered experiences in the workforce, crime prevention through environmental design, women’s experiences on public transport as well as lighting and surveillance
