Based on the definitions, the service that you render to someone will be determined by your motive.
If you expect someone to do something specific for you in return, then what you are after is a transaction.
However, if you have not attached any conditions to your service, this is what is qualified as help.

If someone decides to help you in any capacity, then it is something done from the goodness of their heart
But, they do not owe you anything. No matter who they might be, whether family, friends, or even nature!

Disagreements happen in all relationships, but what matters is how they are dealt with. The way you deal with an issue with your partner can determine if your relationship is healthy or unhealthy, so here are some tips to keep in mind that will help you handle your next argument in a healthy way.
Create a welcoming environment for open communication. In a healthy relationship, you and your partner can communicate openly about what is bothering you and what is going well in the relationship. · Focus on the current issue. The conversation is likely to get bogged down if you pile on everything that bothers you. Avoid using “always” and “never” language and address one issue at a time.
· Take responsibility for mistakes. Apologize if you have done something wrong; it goes a long way toward setting things right again.
· Recognize some problems are not easily solved. Not all differences or difficulties can be resolved. You are different people, and your values, beliefs, habits, and personality may not always be in alignment. Communication goes a long way toward helping you understand each other and address concerns, but some things are deeply rooted and may not change significantly. It is important to figure out for yourself what you can accept, or when a relationship is no longer healthy for you.
7. Be affirming. According to relationship researcher John Gottman, happy couples have a ratio of 5 positive interactions or feelings for every 1 negative interaction or feeling. Express warmth and affection!
8. Keep your life balanced. Other people help make our lives satisfying but they cannot meet every need. Find what interests you and become involved. Healthy relationships have room for outside activities.

1. DO Turn up on time.
Imagine that for every minute you are delayed your date will be thinking about how the possibility of them being stood up. You’ll have left them in the restaurant or bar looking at their watch feeling self-conscious about everyone watching them sitting there alone.
Don’t talk about how great you are. How off-putting! Your date does not, I repeat NOT want to hear all about you. They want to be listened to, respected and engaged with. There will be plenty of time for them get to know you, just wait your turn and reveal more about you when the time calls for it.
DO be interested. If you’re meeting for the first time it’s likely you’ll find out a lot about your date that you never knew. Some of it may be of interest to you, some not, but act like you are interested. Think of the effort they have made to tell you things that are important to them and show some interest in what they are saying. Which leads me to my next point.
Don’t keep checking your phone. This shows total lack of interest and disrespect to the conversation. If you check your phone you are clearly saying that your phone is more important than the person sitting opposite you. Prepare to get the bus home.
DO Listen more. We all like the sound of our own voice but when you are getting to know someone and the relationship is in it’s raw phase then quieten and take in what has been said. Speak less and show your interest by listening more.
Don’t be under-dressed. Being overdressed is far better than turning up looking a scruff. Your date will appreciate the effort you made and if they haven’t made as much of an effort then they will aim to the next time you meet up.
DO ask more questions. That’s right by now you are so interested in what they are saying that you want to know more. Listen, take in the information and ask questions to prove that what you have heard is computing.
Don’t try and be perfect. No one is perfect and no one is looking for Mr or Mrs perfect. No relationship is built on perfection so no need to worry if your date doesn’t seem too impressed with your little quirks or silly habits. Your imperfection is what makes you perfect.
DO Make eye contact. People will assess honesty through eye contact. The more you look away when you are speaking the more dishonest you will seem. You don’t need to stare your date out with your lovers eyes, just know that a better connection will be made if you keep your focus on them.
Don’t spend too long talking about past relationships. This subject is best mentioned and not elaborated on. Nobody wants to hear how much you loved your ex and how wonderful your life was with them. If you find yourself in the middle of this conversation I suggest you moonwalk out the bar and get a taxi home.
DO be honest. The relationship between you two will start off in the best possible way if you are totally honest with your date. This is the way I see it. You should always be proud of expressing exactly who you are and what you stand for and if it doesn’t sit well with them then you know that they aren’t the right person for you.
Don’t think too far ahead Enjoy the moment! Forget what might happen, what could happen and all the variables and just enjoy your date, focus on connecting and being happy in the moment.

They only call when they want something All friendships should be equal – which means that you should receive as much as you put in, it’s all based on reciprocation and mutuality. If you’re putting in more than you’re getting out, you should think twice about what they are asking from you.
2. The conversation is never equal Do you find that you just spend your whole time focused on them when you’re hanging out? Yeah, that’s not cool – we all have problems and things we’d like to talk to somebody about.
3. They put you down or make fun of you in front of others A definite no-no. Usually, people do this because they feel bad about themselves and want to use somebody else as a distraction. Draw a line over any friendships like this immediately.
4. You feel bad about yourself when you’ve spent time with them Sometimes it’s difficult to analyse behaviour, but your emotions never lie. Friends should make you feel good, empowered and uplifted. If you leave them feeling like crap then you should probably re-evaluate the benefit you’re getting from the friendship. Some people, unfortunately, just like to bring others down.
5. They are aggressively competitive It’s good to be a little competitive now and again, but like most things – you can have too much of a good thing. A friendship based on competitive behaviour is NEVER healthy or a true friendship.
6. They aren’t happy for you when good things happen This is one of the most common tell-tale signs and it’s also based on competitive behaviour. A true friend will want to see you succeed and be happy.
7. They bring drama into your life It’s usually the people who spend their time moaning about drama who are the ones causing it. You don’t need that negativity around you.
8. They bitch about you behind your back An absolute no-no. Friendships need to be based on mutual respect and trust. Don’t put up with that crap.
9. Your relationship feels like it’s built on conditionality This is likewise for all relationships in your life. You should feel like they are unconditional and not based on you being or acting in a certain way.
10. Your friends bail on you Sometimes it happens and that’s fine, but if it’s consistent then it obviously shows that your friend is unreliable and much less invested in the friendship than you are. Maybe it’s your turn to bail on them, permanently.
11. They use your secrets against you and share them This is malicious and absolutely nothing a true friend would ever do.

But always remember even sideways is a direction.
You can make compromises to suit the situation.
Think outside the box is what my daddy said.
All the rules that exist are man made.
So you can chart your own path, make some footprints.
You a king, you a queen bow to nobody.
Offer respect to every life on this earth.
You deserve what you put in, life should be fair.
Everybody deserves to breathe some clean air.
They say some day we are gonna go anyways.
But i say look after yourself and yours anyways.
See i felt life is great when you by yourself.
No responsibilities you just eat all your earnings.
A whole lot of time to pursue all your yearnings.
Not everybody is family so you mind your business.
If you come on hard times then you call on Jesus.
Don't take it all too serious gotta let go of stress.

Signs of a good friend
Friends will come and go in your life. No matter how long your friendships last, the most important thing is your friends’ acceptance of you for who you are. A good friend walks the talk and shows that they care by their actions – big and small.
A good friend:
is there for you, no matter what
doesn’t judge you
doesn’t put you down or deliberately hurt your feelings
is kind and respectful to you
is someone whose company you enjoy
is loyal
is trustworthy and willing to tell you the truth, even when it’s hard for you to hear
laughs with you
sticks around when things get tough
makes you smile
is there to listen
comforts you when you cry. 
How to be a good friend
If you treat the people around you in the ways described above, then you’re already a good friend to them. But it’s not always easy to know how to be there for your friends.
Listen to them
Try to understand a situation from your friend’s point of view. Ask questions to get a sense of the problem or issue, but the main thing is to listen to them. You don’t have to have all the answers, and don’t assume that your friend wants advice – they might just want to talk so that they can work it out for themselves.
Get the facts
If your friend has a medical or mental health issue, a good way to offer support is to learn about what they’ve been diagnosed with. Being interested in what they’re going through shows you care, and that you plan to stick around no matter what’s going on. Ask them what they need If you’re worried about someone and you want to be there for them, ask them what they need. You’ll then know what they find helpful during tough times, and you can offer them support in a way that’s genuinely helpful.
Get physical
If you’re a hugger, ask your friend whether it’d be okay to hug them. Once you get the thumbs up, hug away! Hugging your friends can be a great way to show you care for them. Physical contact can be comforting, especially when someone feels alone.
Keep in touch
Even if you don’t live nearby, show your friends you’re there for them by making an effort to keep in regular touch through social media, texts or calls.
Tell them how you feel
You don’t have to make a big deal about it all the time, but you can make a real difference to how someone is feeling just by letting them know how important they are to you. So, go for it!
Be willing to make a tough call
If you think your friend’s safety is at risk, you might need to act without their consent and get help. It can be a tough call, particularly when you’re worried about how they’ll react, but remember that good friends care enough to step up, and that you’re doing it to protect them from harm.

A discussion about some of the differences between the “dating relationships” of the older generations and the current.
Previous generations in Zambia have been keen on following the local traditional values, while the current generation is more free to choose or shape their own destinies.

As the entire world is panicking and fighting to end the Corona Virus (COVID 19) pandemic.
I thought i should take time to share my views on the situation. Stay safe!
Wash your hands frequently Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.
Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.
Maintain social distancing Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.
Practice respiratory hygiene Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.
If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.
Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.

A life that is greater, is a life spent around people who support, build and make you laugh.
Those short, unimportant and silly conversations that leave you with a smile on your face.
Those are the foundations of true friendship, and as we know, all good relationships are built on friendship.
Always watch your temper and only get offended on second thoughts.
This means that when someone speaks strangely, first take it from a neutral standpoint.
Ask yourself “why would this person want to offend me?”
Do not jump to conclusion quickly because you might miss a step and fall out of a good relationship.
If you don’t understand someone’s intentions, then ask questions for clarification.
Scenarios in your head will always try to victimize you because they are always biased towards “what is best for me”, which is usually championed by selfishness.
Life is too short and nobody owes us happiness.
Clean up your energy and people will be drawn into your circle.

I always believe if it is not my responsibility to say NO then that is a burden I will not take. Do not say No to yourself. Ask God, ask the Universe, ask the girl, ask the boy, ask the mentor. Let them say No. Let the people whose burden it is to say No say No. Do not say No on their behalf. Have the courage to ask for what you want. Have the courage to seek out what your heart desires. The biggest regret one can ever have is saying No to themselves when it was not their burden to do so. It’s the things you wanted to do or say that you didn’t because you lacked the courage. You said No to yourself when it was not your job to do so. – Lembelani Daka
