Natalie Newcomb was a guest speaker for Catherine Grady's Radio Broadcasting course at Mercer Island High School a few weeks prior, and the host was immediately inspired at someone so close to her age already thriving in this dream career. Natalie Newcomb highlights simple tactics from noticing the little things in an interview to breaking comfort zones and sometimes as she says, “being“nosy”.

Hinton’s novel, The Outsiders brings us the coming-of-age story of Ponyboy Curtis, a young man who finds himself caught in a social divide between the Greasers and the Socs. Through his family, fellow Greasers, and unexpected friendships, Pony courageously faces loss, life, death, and hope for the future.
