Josh was easily the fan favorite of his season(or maybe that’s just my opinion....he was my favorite on that season). Josh is a father of two and lives with cerebral palsy he is also a former member of the U.S. Paralympic soccer team! Tons of his material comes from his life experiences with a direct and to the punch twist. When it comes to “trimming the fat” in joke writing Josh’s name is one of the names that always comes to my mind, he has an amazing ability to get to a strong punch by using minimal words to get there.

Howdy boys and girls! So I’m gonna keep it short and sweet for this one! On this episode I wanted to just recap my first year in comedy and say thank you to everyone that I’ve met along the way!
This episode was basically a way for me to thank all the friends I’ve made and everyone that I’ve met so far. It’s a great feeling to finally feel like a part of something bigger than myself. I have made some really great friends and been able to share the stage with some amazing people. Being able to get on stage at actual comedy clubs, being able to travel and do comedy, just being hungry enough to go after it all feels dope! So to everyone I have met so far in doing this and all of my friends, from everyone that’s been to a show or let me be on a show with them or everyone that has been on the podcast, I truly want to say thank you, I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the help from each of you!

Cody continues to tour 36 weeks out of the year and is set for his Comedy Central debut in the winter of 2019.

This episode was recorded at the Virginia Beach funny bone on New Year’s Eve after Godfrey had one hell of a show! I highly recommend if you’ve never seen him and he comes to your city/town/whatever that you get your life together and go see him!
Godfrey has decades worth of standup as well as acting under his belt, he really is a chameleon when it comes to becoming multiple people in his act! And not only does he nail every impression but he has a natural talent of being able to seamlessly transition between multiple characters, actouts, and voices over multiple bits but he does it with finesse every time. When I asked him about it, he said his goal has and always will be to have material to backup the characters and vice versa. He really is a good person to watch just to absorb and learn from!
Godfrey is a regular at the world famous Comedy Cellar so I figured why not use a bit from a show he recently did there!
