Ask the Experts: It's Personal: Recent Episodes

American Diabetes Association

Ask the Expert’s: It’s Personal features real questions from people with diabetes and answers from diabetes experts. Please join us for this Q&A series to hear practical tips on topics such as nutrition, medication management, and physical activity.

This podcast series is brought to you through our Know Diabetes by Heart and Focus on Diabetes initiatives.

If you have type 2 diabetes, your risk of developing cardiovascular disease is doubled. The American Diabetes Association, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, has launched Know Diabetes by Heart to help you learn how you can reduce your risk. Know Diabetes by Heart is made possible with support from founding sponsors, the Boehringer Ingelheim and Eli Lilly and Company Diabetes Alliance, and Novo Nordisk, as well as national sponsors, Sanofi, AstraZeneca, and Bayer.

The American Diabetes Association has also launched the Focus on Diabetes initiative to bring you tools and resources to highlight the critical role eye exams play in early detection and early treatment to prevent the loss of vision. Focus on Diabetes is made possible with support from Visionary Partners, VSP® Vision Care and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
