04-24-2022 While today’s audio and video files are not available, please tune in again in the next few weeks when Pastor Jim will return and begin to finish his series on the 16 fundamental truths of the Assemblies Of God. These last sermons will focus on in times things as well as a discussion of heaven.
Due to Covid restrictions our annual celebration of what God did here at Calvary, and our annual review of finances, formally known as 'the business meeting', which is required to occur annually, was held as part of our church service on 01-31-2021. While Covid may have been rough on all of us, God still moved in wonderful ways this past year, and we celebrate what He did in 2020.
01-10-2021 We lost an amazing wonderful man from our congregation. He lived for the Lord and his quiet ways were a powerful influence in the lives of many because his eyes were set on eternity and on God. We need to live 'ready for death', not avoidant of it. If we embrace life beyond death, it changes how we live now.
12-06-2020. Christmas trees and gifts, cookies, and caroling. Snow, hopefully. What are we missing? In our current world, so dark to us, when we look at the hope the prophets told of, a coming Messiah and what He would mean to the world, we must hold tight to the fact that what the prophets longed to see, we are living with: Jesus, Messiah, Savior, Soon Coming King who left us with Holy Spirit, and we must hold hope.
The election is NOT over! The electoral college does not vote until December 14th and a lot of voter "irregularities" are surfacing and will be coming before the supreme court this week. How should we position ourselves? What about all the prophesies...?
