Have a quick coffee with me guys, and get your mind focussed on the possibilities and potential we have at our fingertips - if we can 'stand guard at the doors of our mind' and block out the negativity.
This is a lesson that I was given a stark reminder of today, and I never want to forget it. Have you ever had a sliding doors moment that fundamentally changed your life? That meant that if you hadn't come out the right side of it, you wouldn't even be here now? If so, listen on, and harness that memory and use it to power the new YOU.
We've made it to the difficult second season! Thank you to all for your support in Season 1. Season 2 is super-exciting, packed with interviews with incredibly inspiring people, stories and life-lessons learned by other people so you can maybe benefit from the advice without having to live the bad experience first!
Don't call it a comeback! First podcast after a period of reflection.....Fear cannot exist where Gratitude exists.
Listeners, please listen to this important message. Do you ever feel sad, depressed, angry, hopeless, guilty? Any of these negative feelings can drive us to do things to ourselves and others that make the problem much worse. Wouldn't it be better for you, your loved ones, your friends, the world if we instead flipped the script. If we got up and did something empowering that set us on a different path? You can do that in an instant, and in 15 minutes make it a lasting change by using the power of movement to change your mindset.
Steppers!! If you love the poem 'If' by Rudyard Kipling, and personal development, then you'll love this podcast. It's my interpretation on the poem and what we can learn from it. I am particularly interested if you agree/disagree or if it provoked your own thoughts. Please let me know on our facebook page.
In this episode, we interview Jon Thor Sigurleifsson about the difficult subject of depression. It's a massive area and we certainly can't do it justice in 25 minutes. So we focus instead on what our own experiences have been in the hope that it will remove the stigma for people and get them to recognise where this monster might exist in their friends, family or themselves. We are certainly not trained experts in this area, however the fact that it is extremely difficult to talk about and confront is something that needs to change, so this is our first venture to changing it.
In this podcast, we face up to some personal challenges, and give ourselves a big dose of truth. If you are aiming to be the best version of yourself this year, listen to this.
In this episode we have 3 pieces of advice for you: 1. the 3 pillars of diet, exercise and sleep 2. the value of a great coach or mentor 3. Get yourself an apple watch, fit-bit etc. to hold yourself accountable

Short one here about the awesome power of visualization. As usual, the 3 to apply are: 1. Download the audiobook of The Secret by Rhonda Byrne 2. Take any goal or project or task you have to do this week, and visualise achieving it quicker, better etc. than you previously thought possible. Go crazy, go 200% over. 3. Watch the result, and celebrate it. Like us on facebook: www.facebook.com/StepItUp.cast/
Today we interview Wonder Woman - for those who don't know who that is, it's Lucy Lewin from Leicestershire. In this episode, Lucy tells us how she balances 5 kids, 1 husband, 1 dog, 1 business, a bunch of employees, customers, elite athletics, coaching and much more. In particular we focus on how to stay on track to achieve the life you want to live, and how to get back up when you fall.
Here we ponder not what the meaning of life is, but what life could be if we control the meaning we assign to things. As usual, you get your 3 to apply.
This is the story of my journey with Personal Development. That's the 'mountain' in the middle of the pic at the top
